He will likely never get to "Jokic level" but his current accomplishments before he can even buy beer is a good indication he will be somewhere in between Jokic and Sabonis which would make him a VERY good player. We have no idea what his ceiling currently is. Though doubtful, he could very well be close to Jokic level by the time he reaches his mid 20's. Even if he is already at his ceiling he is a 20/10/5 player which is pretty darn good.

It didn't make sense to me to downplay Jokic's postseason chances because of his defense when Dirk already pulled it off a decade ago. Denver's defense has been league average at worst for the past five seasons and have a massive positive net rating with Jokic on the floor so he clearly wasn't holding them back in any aspect.

I think his ceiling is probably 2nd best player on a title team, but he HAS to develop a very consistent 3 pt shot to get there; especially since his size/length and lateral mobility will probably prevent him from guarding any elite big he would face in WC SF/F. So most likely I would project him somewhere between 6th man and 3rd best player on a title team. He is still really young so there is no where to know where on that he would fall. A lot of this will depend on team construction and schem because he NEEDS a motion offense and probably a defense that utilizes some elements of Denvers scram defense and maybe LSU's defense that Tari excelled in. Maybe discuss basketball instead of attacking people.

Sengun needs to work on his body and his 3-ball. He needs to find his spots in Udoka’s offense. That will unlock everything for him. I doubt he’ll ever be as good he Jokic who is an all-time great, but he’ll be a load to handle for anybody
