You'd hope Udoka's learned his lesson after humiliating his family and losing tens of millions of dollars, on top of getting sent to a cellar dweller team from a championship contender.
I would be ok with that. I trust Udoka. Whomever he wants to have on the team, let's see what happens.
I give every player a pass. SIlas was absolutely terrible. We will know much more about what we have by the end of next season. I expect it to start off rocky as they adjust to Ime however Is suspect by the end of the year the team will be playing well. I will be happy with anything over 30 wins next year.
One of the reasons he chose the Rockets was that he does not want his kid to have his mistake in the papers all the time.... if not redemption then at least water under the bridge...... A big statute of limitation stamp on his files.
Just stay your ground and keep your hands up. In Sabonis's case though, I doubt he could go for pump fakes even if he wanted to. Man was basically stationary by the time he got to the NBA.
Yeah, the dude had zero jumping and running ability by the time he got here. But he's big and he's smart. He still averaged about 25 mpg.
His confidence in his jumper was fine last season. Someone, likely Silas, advised him to stop taking threes, which is when you began to see the hesitation and slower decision making. The guy would be wide open and look around for someone to pass to for at least 3 seconds before he'd decide to take the shot.
Silas was truly the worst coach I have ever seen in all my years watching basketball, or any sports really.
Silas... a coach so terrible that he can unite fanbase factions. Maybe that's his true calling in life.
