I admit this is some serious fandom dedication on your part. I saw some of these this morning with Green being all over the place from being the most underrated and a few overrated. The nature of a young scoring guard in the NBA is rough lol. Booker got the same treatment and doesn't hurt that Green is the most threatening to fans of players like Cade and Barnes and Giddey who routinely try to **** on Green because of some complex.
The Sabonis playoff experience raised my expectations for sengun definitely. I actually was not aware that Sabonis cannot pass, as his higher assist numbers are higher. Just realized that they were mostly dribble hand offs, which should be attributed to the system, or coaching than sabonis. Similarly, he is not that creative in the post. Once Sengun is as strong as Sabonis, he will look much better than Sabonis immediately.
"YoU cAn'T mAkE a DeEp PlAyOfF rUn WiTh SlOw FoOtEd NoN rIm PrOtEcToR BiGs." "SeNgUn ArChEtYpE gEtS pLaYeD oFf ThE cOuRt In ThE pLaYoFfS." "NiKoLa JoKiC iS oNlY a RoLe PlAyEr In ThE pLaYoFfS." Those who have 0 basketball knowledge with narrow mindset are pretty quiet these days. I wonder why.
The fact that anti Sengun crowd on Twitter were pro-Ayton until couple days ago tells you all you need to know about these sad mfs. If you are 6'10 and below you are f.cked if you are 6'10+ you're good. Then you bring up Horford (6'9) and Robert Williams (6'9), Adebayo (6'10), Looney (6'9) and they completely abandon their first argument say that those are good defenders as if Sengun is finished product. They are constantly moving the goalpost. You CAN NOT save 70 IQ folks.
I've seen his photos next to legit 6'10's he is 6'10 for sure. Not a millimeter taller than that tho but i don't get the obsession with height frankly. Sabonis was 1 win away from progressing to the conference semi finals. Alpi's 1 inch shorter than Sabonis but balances is out with his longer wingspan. It's not that complicated high iq bb players find a way overcome their obstacles. There's a reason Kyle Anderson is in the league and playing almost 30 mins for wolves. If you can slow the time down on the court you are valuable. Everyone's too fast, has high vertical, can dunk all over each other but you are an anomaly. They are not used to playing against the ones like you.
Alpi is probably an inch shorter than Jabari, but plays bigger. That's why I think Alpi is a 5/4 and Jabari is a 4/3.
There must be a Sengunatic among active NBA players. https://theathletic.com/4421645/2023/04/18/nba-players-poll/ @Os Trigonum
