It's not impressive when it's low efficiency and that player is one of the worst defensive players in the entire league. It's not the 90's anymore high volume low efficiency chucking isn't impressive no matter what the raw counting starts end up being because it's detrimental to the team.
Idk how u don't get tired talking to one of the most experienced mental gymnastics poster on the forum.
Agree to disagree. 58 btw. Like 10% of the league scored 20ppg or more. Nobody called him a good defender either, who are you arguing with about that? lol because he had to call me a religious zealot or whatever when we all know the only reason he's on a Sengun thread shidding on Jalen Green is because he's too dug in about Porter to admit Jalen Green might not be Adolf Hitler. He might just be a really talented young player on a team that was purposefully throwing games.
Well he's not gonna change his mind and when he does its gonna him phrasing its that he was just being a concerned Rockets fan or some bs. Don't waste your time.
22 pts in 18 FGA is kind of expected tbh. I haven't checked it but this must be around Giannis number. The reason why i'm not giving up on him is because he can finish however he wants. At least we know he can but he's extremely inconsistent. His low is for me legit unwatchable and his high is fun. I'm giving him 1 more season with Ime to accurately tell his ceiling. If he has another low eff. season like the last two then bye because .426 and .416 are just unacceptable.
140 stocks (steals+blocks) last season, in limited minutes!!!!! I believe he was no. 31 in the entire NBA last season (Tari Eason was no. 27). Jabari 117 stocks, KPJ 99, Jalen Green 77. Those are hustle and effort stats.
Okay let's be clear about one thing: It is very, very normal for perimeter players who come into the league around age 18-20 to take awhile to get their efficiency going. Here are some examples of guys who came into the league at age 20 or younger. Kobe Bryant FG% (first two seasons): 42.5% FG% (career): 44.7% Bradley Beal FG% (first two seasons): 41.6% FG% (career): 46.0% Zach LaVine FG% (first two seasons): 43.9% FG% (career): 46.5% LeBron James FG% (first two seasons): 44.6% FG% (career): 50.5% Carmelo Anthony FG% (first two seasons): 42.8% FG% (career): 44.7% It would be very normal and expected for Green to have lower efficiency early on in his career then begin to show significant improvements in efficiency after his first couple of seasons. If he hasn't shown any signs of improvement by the end of next season then we can start talking about chucker or whatever. Until then people ought to shut up with trying to label him as a chucker so early in his career--he's just a kid doing his best against professional grown-ass men.
Ah back to the random comparisons to make excuses for Jalen Green's poor performance. Love it. Never gets old. I do hope that eventually Jalen Green stops being awful so that you don't have to work so hard spinning things for him all the time.
Don't take booby seriously. He only waited until kpj finally has a higher ts% than Green to start throwing the chucker sht. Didn't hear the man btch about kpj being a chucker whatsoever the past 2 season when his ts% was even lower than green
This is good work, building core strength and functional mobility. Now add in some more plyometric work for explosion.
He said it would take years to get to Corey Brewer level. The goalposts will forever be moved NO MATTER the outcome. He is disingenuous to an unheard level. I have him on ignore but it would be nice if I didn’t have to read about 2-3 posters every time I log in here complaining about him. Most individuals are not so socially inept to not realize that that are flat out abrasive. But are instead capable of taking those social cues to improve their personality. Imagine spending hours of your life every week to be told by countless people to just stop and stfu.
I become happy when I see the faces of Alp+JGreen+Bari+Tari+TyTy+Josh and surprisingly Denis Schroeder. Grateful for having these clean-cut players under Rockets jersey. They will be champions soon.
