Alperen has certain qualities that make him super difficult to assess. A Larry Bird-esque magical quality to his game that can’t be taught. He isn’t just clever like Scola, he is a savant. This isn’t to say he doesn’t have weaknesses, but my goodness. Scary to give up on the guy this early when he has come so far.
