He'll leave in the offseason and wherever he goes he'll be infinitely better i guarantee you that. Gua-ran-tee. People who treat him like he's some bum will eat their words. They'll eat their words when they realize that under a competent head coach and with players who actually have basketball IQ around him, he won't be getting the ball 20 feet away from the basket, trying to attack the rim and spinning 10 feet out anymore. They'll actually watch him post up like an actual center. They'll see that when they run pnr with him and get him into his spots, he can actually make his shots, that his floaters go in when he's closer to the basket instead of taking them from 15 feet out.

It's really painful to be a basketball fan who can see what's actually going on. There are actual people who think he's missing shots or that the team is losing because hes "soft" or that we lose because he doesn't average 4 blocks a game. No, it's not the fact that we don't have a single consistent 3pt shooter other than KD or that we have zero above average ball handlers who can actually get him and others to their spots. It's not Ime’s rotations at all or his lack of understanding of NBA offense. No, he is the reason. It’s the way he runs and the way he jumps. When he’s gone, everything will be better. That's the level of analysis you get from 95% of them. What do you do with these people? You can't block/ignore every single one of them.

 

Idk how many more data we need from sengun. He hasn't reach his peak from season 3. He has regressed ever since then.
