I did not use any stats but checked the top 125 and evaluated Alp and Jalen within. Glad to see my hypothetical ranking fits to your scientific method. Grateful.
I wouldn't take the ringer ranking as gospel. Welcome to The Ringer’s Top 125 Players in the NBA, a year-round, around-the-clock ranking of the players making the biggest impact on the league right now. Throughout the regular season and into the offseason, our triumvirate of analysts—Rob Mahoney, J. Kyle Mann, and Michael Pina—will update this list based on recent results. (Utter bs) Ranking are always subjective. Sengun only fans shouldnt b celebrating that we are in the "top 125", probably should a bit higher respectively (but then again I'm bias) Draft class mates Mobley is at 37 And Cade cunningham is at 71 when he has played only 12 games this season (makes no sense) Not even gonna talk about how embiid is 6th of all things while ranked higher on the mvp race Folks be higher on the list when they played less games. Kawhi, durant, lebron Folks are higher on the list when their team is underperforming. Ex Lillard/lebron in the top 10 while his team is about to miss the playoffs. Luka team is at an even .500. Harden gets disrespected as usual. His impact has his team way in front over the likes of mavs, lakers, blazers but he's only 16th.
