I am not saying the stat is not important, almost most important. Just referring to the incorrectness of this statement: ‘Any chart that has alrc burks as the best rim protector will be silly no matter the context though.’ the chart doesn’t have alec burks as the best rim protector, not it claims that it shows best rim protectors, although dfg% is probably the most important metric for rim protection.
I mean he had the best rim protection FG% of everyone in the nba on the chart, you're being absurdly nit picky since even you basically agree with what i said
I would say there's an EXTREMELY strong correlation between lowest rim FG% and best rim protector, it's not like they're barely related or something
There is an extremely strong correlation for centers, not for Alec burks, and with large sample size of course. Alec burks is not a center nor the sample size is big. So basically the stat says nothing about him. Since the sample size is small it doesn’t say it for centers either and they don’t even claim that it does.
I think it is easy to see why Banchero is on these lists from watching games. To me, I think Paolo is still too inefficient (I get Sengun had a really bad season in terms of efficiency), but most people don't cringe when players settle for mid-range shots that aren't automatic from mid-range. I could see Paolo becoming more efficient and deserving of the flowers he has already been given. I could also see him ending up as a number 1 guy that just isn't good enough to be better than the good-to-great number 1 guys, but doesn't have the skill sets to play off ball.
Of course Ime would highlight his defensive plays. Wish he would talk about how Sengun's abilities on the other end could open up an offense other than just the fact that he was able to beat the defense thrown at him.
Same. He only talked about the three point shot.. "You see what others are doing around the league and shooting the three. We're encouraging him to be confident with that shot. He doesn't have to rely on it." Something like that.
He basically said that he is getting high assist numbers because of the way he is defended in Europe. Very disappointing from İme.
IDK I would not blame him for an Offseason Interview but you sorta knew what kind of Coach he was from miles away.
Cannot wait to see Sengun get the ball and teams having to decide to double, get beat by a shot or a pass off to freaking KD who’s gonna jam that **** home!
