Maybe I missed where that’s the point you were trying to make but what it sounded like by the post I quoted was that you said “by every metric he has already surpassed Yao” I took it as you claiming that Sengun this last season is already better than anything Yao ever did metric wise. Which isn’t accurate. I then even went on to say in my post what you are saying now. That yes he looks well on his way to surpassing Yao, he just hasn’t done it “by every metric “ yet.
Circumstances are meaningless. Yao was a better player & only someone who doesn't watch basketball would think otherwise
