He is amazing. Yes his FG% is a bit lower then you want. But he is doing this while being fouled the entire time by Green. Kerr has also started matching Sengun minutes with Green. Green is totally focussed on stopping Sengun. Also the defense of Sengun is really good. He plays smart and has quick hands. It is just that what he is really good at in defense is not the standard things Centers are good at.
Mobley's specialty is his Versatility not because he is so elite at either Rim protection or Perimeter defense. Worshipping is a little too much, Jarrett Allen next to him helps him a lot so he can roam around.
I tell you his offensive step back this year is due to him expending so much more energy on defense. He will adjust and when he does the league better watch out.
We're such a long ways from the days of Sil@ss and the damage he did to Sengun's rep. It was all the uninformed fans that to this day still refuse to believe their eyes and talk about Sengun not being able to defend and how they wish they had a vertical lob threat, happy to have Bruno take the starting spot. Monster rebounding night and perimeter defense from Alpi..again Offensively, he keeps sabotaging his own efficiency, two threes he had no business shooting and the still put shots that haven't been consistently falling since January. Take those out and it's 8/15 night with dray and butler hugging his hip Spin dunk, spin hook or spin layups. Soft misses where Aquaman can grab the board> ricochet put shot

You know you've arrived, when a guy 'stole the show' by scoring 4 less points, grabbing 9 less rebounds, dishing 6 less assists, taking 2 less steals than you.
He arrived when he won MVP with Besiktas and first NBA season. Now we are talking legacy already granted he is an early bloomer. The better he gets his margin of error becomes slimmer and slimmer- unfortunately the name of the game. In comparison a dude not known for any Offense who had a career threatening injury comes back with his best game so far.
This right here is why I hate the offense defense subs for sengun late games. He smart positional defender and our best rebounder needs to be in at all times. As much as I love Tari is plays some really dumb basketball sometimes and always fouls shooters. It's a pattern with him.
