It's awful quite in here, LOL. I guess this is the moment all of his critiques, fans, haters have been waiting for. Is he soft? Defensive liability? Will he be schemed out of the game? Is there a better matchup than the Warriors to have the first PO data on these discussions? Draymond to test his toughness, rim protecting Warriors team to shut him off, and Curry & Kerr to force him into liability in D. I expect him to have rather average to good defensive performance throughout the series. This is where he will provide the most value. Foreseeing Warriors to shut him off completely on the other side. All the space, spots, and moves will be taken away from him. Is it fair to expect an increase on hockey/potential/assists? Look at what they did to JJJ in the play-in game. Excluding 3's the dude was a non-factor. Got frustrated and shat the bed on D as well. He looked energetic and hyped up in Denver game. Let's see how that hype translates into this series. Hope he delivers better O performance than what I expect. It's better to rely Alpi & Jalen than solely relying on Jalen to get buckets. Rockets in 6!
Sengun is slow and very small, he has no outside shot... Let's add a few other things to this, it makes Jalen look bad.
This is not the regular season anymore. Ime shouldn't switch players like he did in the regular season. Alpi started the game like a speeding bullet. Ime shouldn't have sent Alpi to the bench. It was too early. Even TNT reporters were confused. They were asking why Sengun and Jalen were on the bench.
Alpi had a very good game, but the fact that we have no offensive focus is a problem...... We should have been posting him up in the 2nd half and play off of him instead we get like 9for34 out of FVV and JGreen. Yuck. DD
Literally didn't get beat once on defense 1-on-1, was the only player on the court for the Rockets who can put the ball in the basket, and some people in their stream still not convinced that he's a building block. How difficult can it be for a grown man to admit that he has been wrong? lol Dude is never going to admit he's been wrong unless Alpi gets like 3 finals MVPs in a row.
