Getting confirmation from the great one about Jokic. With Alperen following Jokic's footsteps, we're in good hands.

If u break down basketball to the basics, it's just putting the ball into the bucket. There's really no correct way to do it, all it matters is that u hone your skills diligently enough to make yourself unstoppable. The post game aint dead, it just that it's a way harder skill to master.

If hakeem was playing in this era during his prime, he will dumpster everybody cause no one really hone their skill in guarding the post game

Sengun should keep honing his post game with Hakeem, he will also b unstoppable soon

Awesome article. Love Hakeem. If he thinks Jokic is the one - then I am quite sure I know what he thinks who should be "the one" on the Rockets. And hopefully, he can help make him as good as Jokic.

Fans - Sengun can't be a franchise player because he can't play defense (supposedly)

Also fans - Green can be a franchise player because he is a less efficient offensive player, he doesn't have close to the IQ Sengun does, he is somehow an even worse defender, he is an offensive force but doesn't know how to utilise a screen properly.

    Checks out.

Lol man you're arguing with like an imaginary friend now. When Green has a good game people who support him aren't going to spam multiple threads about him being the franchise player.

It's almost as crazy as reading something Dream said about Jokic (a literal generational talent) and acting like it was said about Sengun. I love Alpi, I hope he does one day make it to Jokic's level but people really need to stop acting like they're one and the same.

We'll see if Jokic can go to the Finals this year but Jokic' style hasn't been conducive to getting to the Finals when all the super teams were at their best.

He has been more of a reg season guy.

Every NBA Player can score 20 or 30 Points if he take 29 or 30 shoots. Green shoot to many times and hit what 30 or 35% ? If he can shoot over a season or more season 50 or 60% then we can talk again not uf he takes 40 shoots with 35% to get 20 points

Same could have been said about Dirk...until he won it all.

Show me an all-star guard shooting 60% for a season? Hell, show me some that shoot 50? Harden's one of the absolute all-time elite scoring guards, he's never shot 50% for a single season ever.

They should do a best player by year list like Complex does with rappers. Because that year Dirk was the greatest player in the world. I'd be curious to see just how many of those Lebron would win. Harden was the best player in the world for a bit there as well. As was Curry. As was Durant.

    Let the numbers talk:
    Alperen Sengun: 15.1 ppg, 8.8 reb, 3.2 ast, 56.6 fg%.
    Evan Mobley: 14.5 ppg, 8.9 reb, 2.7 ast, 55.7 fg%.

    Jalen Green: 21.9 ppg, 4.3 reb, 3.6 ast, 41.3 fg%
    Cade Cunningham (injury-limited season): 19.9 ppg, 6.2 reb, 6.0 ast, 41.3 fg%

Two are considered the future of their franchises and the other two are being questioned by some idiots who are calling to trade them in the middle of their second season in the league.

Right?! Every time Green has a good game, we have posters spamming in every single thread like he could be the greatest of all time. I think I saw he could beat Larry Bird 1v1 and probably be better than Hakeem. Oh wait...
