Alperen already one of the best assist big men at his limited playing time: Given same amount of minutes and use him correctly, he'd be in the top 5 of the list. Source: https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/big-man-assist-rate-leaders
I think given the choice, I'd still rather he stay in the NBA. Many players have learned that way, I'm sure he can do it.
yet those many players and their franchises stayed mediocre forever...and you didnt even mentioned those whose careers were ruined that way....people keep expecting brilliant results and continue taking mediocre half assed measures ...it wont work...he already become worse at his bread and butter and a worse player all around, and a shooter become he did not.... btw why not give him 10 3s a game here?
needs to be more selfish and assert himself...too many wasted possesions by chuckers far below his level of effectiveness and efficiency
I think you should research that, most players learn how to shoot with few 3PA in their first season if they are not good shooters already. I don't know why they're not giving him 10 3pa, but I bet it has to do with Sengun not hitting 30% mark yet and Wood being showcased. You already knew that and already disagree with that, let's talk about something else. I repeat: I know you disagree, why you disagree, and what you think will happen if we don't go along with your plan. Back to the point, Sengun seems to be learning to catch and shoot when starting with Wood.
Well, they're leaving him open, daring him to shoot, aren't they? Those shots are catch-and-look-around-and-pump-fake-and-look-around-again-and-shoot 3's rather than simple catch-and-shoot 3's.
Yeah, that's why I think it's good he gets some reps doing that. He certainly needs to speed up and polish his 3pt shot, don't want him to become a player that can only live in the post.
the end of the highlight was hilarious! first its a steal then hes flying to the ground to save the ball from going out of bounds while simultaneously assisting tate for a spin move to the hoop basket....
Now we can showcase Wood to increase his his value for the rest of the season, lol. I wonder what the ones who justified wood’s minutes to increase his trade value think now.
Hard to do if he constantly gets ignored while being open and calling for the ball. Nwaba prefers to barrel into a bunch of defenders instead. Tate, similar.
