I am sure that Ja Morant&Shai are also better players than Sengun&Banchero at the moment. The thing is more and more people started to notice Sengun.
...to get a more objective view I would love first for us to imagine ja and shai on the rockets and see how they look in our system, when the ball is taken from their hands, teammates dont passing them the ball, with not enough PT and the coach sitting them when hot and playing them not to their strengths...dont think we would have recognized them at all... and vice versa... alpe would statpad like 2019 harden if just given the ball like harden, ja and shai and everybody would have thought he is better than them... for me i dont need a player boxscore statpading to appreciate him , perhaps somewhat naive and it's not 100% correct but many times i can easily strip players circumstances from the player in my mind...
