He plays where the team mentality imposed by Quin Snyder. He would be a bust in Houston. He plays as much as Alpi played last year 55% FT percentage and 0% 3pt percentage. Can you imagine how furious would be Rockets media and fanbase about his lack of points, lack of 3 pt attempts, poor assisting numbers? The certain comment would be : "If Kessler wants to be an NBA player, he has to improve his 3pt". Crazy parrots.
It was clear Kessler would be decent in the NBA. His length, relative athleticism for his size, and timing on blocks definitely translates. He'll never make an All-Star team but I bet he winds up on a couple of third team All-defense teams and stays in the NBA for the next 18 years on, say, 5 different teams.
You cant realy expect from alpi to play defense on this team. keep low profile, stay healthy, sign for the max then you play defense when on a contender or owning your own team
I have never seen Sengun this disengaged on defense. If anything, he gets unnecessary fouls because he tries too hard.
this is why i always laugh when people wonder why i wouldn't accept an invitation to play in NBA... i just like to play basketball and NBA is 90% consisting of things not basketball..its a lot of travel, hotels, airplanes, politics and whatever...
Ive never seen Jalen this bad on defense. Beginning of the season Jalen was Ding up. His help defense was still ass, but he was trying.. Jalen needs a vet that won't let him get away with this. Jalen's vet is KPJ who does this all the time... rockets going to ruin this child.. sad.
Man, When Sengun loses his man once, he gets benched and the franchise wonders if he will be a viable big going forward. Silas tried to start Bruno over him. Sengun gets the absolute business about his defense when Jalen, KPJ and Gordon rarely get any smoke.
Starting Bruno over Sengun was the cover-up for our guards' weaknesses. It was a real fiasco. Some basketball ignorant fans also supported this ill-fated attempt. Poor minds.
thats why tanking never works..what you make in getting higher picks you lose tenfold in other areas that people so easily overlook and underrate.. besides, todays not 40 years ago...the talent pool is immeasurably wider and every pick is as talented as the top picks in the past... every kid in the world today has the entire basketball explained available at the click of mouse...
