Yeah he doesn't even need a three, he just needs something that isn't within 5 feet of the rim. As incredible as his vision and passing are, he's super easy for any decent defense to plan for because you know where he's going every single time. Add a 15-20 footer and it's not so easy any more. Add a 3 ball and it's even less so. You can tell which of his fans actually watched the NBA previously and which have just followed him over from the Turkish league by how convinced they are that a post-only player will be an all star in the NBA. They won't, it's too one dimensional. None of the top bigs in the NBA can only score from one spot on the floor. It's probably the one thing that'll hold him back from ever achieving anything resembling star level if it doesn't develop. Saying that, he's not just pump faking and giving them time to adjust now, he's taking the shots like he did last season instead of hesitating and making it a moot point like he has most of this one. That coupled with him apparently working on plyometrics etc tells me that Sengun's probably more aware of where he needs to work than his asshat fans are. Sengtards gonna Sengtard though, it is what it is.

Sengun has been playing too careful. He tried something different a couple games ago when his dad was there, which is something I want to see. The team is not going anywhere anyway with an incompetent coach and a bunch of inefficient selfish guards who always drop the ball on defense, he should prioritize his own development. He always look for passing to his teammates first, the intention is nice but that's not the right approach. If he consistently score inside, it'll keep the defense honest and generate more open looks for the outside shooters. Sengun has the ability to do that but he's just too passive. If you are making over 50% of your shots, nobody can say you are selfish because you are efficient.

Sengun needs to improve his passing and turnovers. Look at his assist to turnover ratio. It's worse than the inefficient chucker selfish guards you speak of.

Also as a Sengun fan why would you be any way angry at Jalen Green?

He is literally the best player on the team at finding Sengun.

He has no jumper so his man will just sag and defend rim (like they been doing) til he proves he can make the midrange jumper

what in the **** is wrong with the people in this thread? Who are you even talking to? You are quoting me and calling me a SOF meanwhile have the people in this thread are jumping all over me for daring to suggest anything less than Sengun is the next coming of Jokic.

It’s like people come to this thread because they want to yell at people and they have no interest in having a reason - just quote someone you didn’t read and start yelling at them from whatever soapbox you are on-no nuance, no attempt to understand or even adhere to the most basic logical constructs…. In a long history of dysfunctional threads, this has to be most dysfunctional of them all.

It's that important that Sengun gets range that I don't care if he misses 50 open shots in a row, as long as he takes them and doesn't instantly push towards the paint or pump fake and remove all of the space he had. Eventually, they WILL fall, even if it's a long middy rather than a 3 ball. You can see it in his form, it's nice, it's smooth, it's just hesitant and lacking confidence which makes it a bit slow also. Nobody's biting on them pump fakes though, not only does he not shoot enough for people to believe it, it looks like a pump fake the minute he starts the motion. Shoot the ball young man, gain the confidence, the winning doesn't matter anywhere near as much as the developing of that shot.

It's actually borderline insane that his fans are advocating AGAINST him developing range, that's pretty much the surefire path to Sengun becoming a legit all star in the league (as he's evidently putting in the work on his athleticism - which is an interesting point, if the Sengtards claim he's already athletic and well above average, why is he working on plyometrics and drills designed for twitch movement and explosiveness? Maybe Sengun's a little more realistic on who he is as a player than y'all are.)

If Alpy develops a respectable 3 point shot he will be a perennial All Star. If he can improve his defense he could be All NBA. He's super efficient now and a stat darling, but lets keep it real if the guy isnt making 70% of those sub 5 foot baby hook shots then what is there to get excited about?

Even Senguns Turkish coach during the last Euro tourney wasnt playing the guy enough according to these fans! Its crazy for people to be so oblivious to game theory when they fancy themselves the best basketball minds on Earth. How does playing a bad defender who cant shoot and who's only redeemable quality is a restricted area post game with some nifty passing a good idea when the team is falling behind by double digits? Development? LOL Alpy probably needs the least development out of the bunch! Then on the other hand they complaing about tanking and not playing to win!! Im the hater because I dont want to give him the GOK GOK 2000 for every single move he makes? Its out of bounds to talk about his flaws? People here sure like to pile on other players from the team.

I really like Sengun, but these SOFs make me wish he was on another team so they could be another fanbases petulant little red headed step brother.

When did I quote you? Standing on your soapbox yelling at people to stop yelling? LOL You're a little late to the party!

because in 1 step, 1 dribble or one spin hes at the rim...shooting with godly efficiency... do you even ball bro?

It's so unfortunate because I've never seen such an ocean sized gulf in personality between a fandom and the player. Sengun is a delight of a human and is a great locker room guy. The opposite of his fanbase.

Sengun is a great player, but it is obvious Silas do not like to play him. Local, National and Euro Media are saying Silas is not treating Sengun fair, anybody can see this! These Silas's Lovers will lie and say Sengun's defense is not good.....WTF! Name somebody on this team that their defense is good. The Silas's Lovers will say he gets to many fouls...WTF! Keep playing him until he fouls out. The Silas's Lovers will say he does not have an outside shot....WTF! If the guy misses an outside shot, dumbass Silas will take him out. As a starter, we play less minutes than the other starters and he is not having OPPORTUNITES to work on his game or try to work on his outside shot. This is crazy. Dumbass Silas loves KPJ and let KPJ do anything we wants. Silas calls a play and KPJ avoids Silas's instruction and dribble for 13 seconds and shoot a crazy shot....Silas will not say anything.

    VALUE:
If we would try to trade KPJ nobody would want this headache....no team, no GM!
No owner would want Silas to coach their team because he let the players walk all over him

IF....you put Sengun on the trade block it would be 29 GM asking about the player. He is in his second year, and he is a top 15-18 Centers in the NBA. We have all seen how he dominated the Centers when he plays. Elite passer, elite handles and elite foot work on the offense end.

I would trade Silas and KPJ for a 2nd round pick in 2030
