I know y’all complained about me before, but @hakeem94 has gotta be the most annoying poster on these boards
1. Almost everything you’re saying is nonsense. If reality doesn’t fit your insane narrative, you just reject it altogether. It’s kinda wild to see. 2. Learn punctuation. Reading your insane rantings is even more unpleasant because your formatting and punctuation are so abysmal. Periods are your friend. Complete sentences are your friend. Capitalized letters are your friend. Your posts make me feel like I’ve had a stroke.
I liked Celtics game overall because: 1. Alpi played exactly what Coaching and "Dumb list members" projected for him. Low profile, not fighting for every ball, having "there is another game soon" mentality. 9 rebs, 3 attempt. Perfect 2.Exposing again Rox has the worst perimeter defense in whole NBA. Prior to game one poster predicted 40 points for both Tatum&Brown. Respect to him. 3. Celts put Horford on Alpi first, did not work, a brief Tatum, not good and switched to Smart and others later on. It was very good seeing some people still doing tactical changes during the games. Not everybody is Silas. 4. Celt announcers analyzed Alpi's offensive foul and quoted: "Not necessarily a foul but Sengun was punished forcomplaining a lot". It will be a good lesson for Alpi if he has learning ability. As he is not member of "Dumb List" he will certainly will learn. 5.Rox won Bulls game through sharing ball. Forgot in a day and tried to win via 3pt shooting. It was the record 3pt shooting game this season, a total 100 (previous high was 92). Rox tried to duel with the best shooting team and lost as expected. Idiocy. 6.Seeing again if Alpi does not work, Rockets machine does not also. Alpi has to learn to play against to shorter defenders to make Rox machine to work. Seeing masochistic pathetic losers enjoying to see Alpi finished the game scoreless is also hillarious. Poor souls. Sorry for them.
Aren't you the guy who said we had a better frontcourt than the Celtics last night at the beginning of the game thread? Brown and Tatum are frontcourt players. How'd that work out for you?
All I got to say about the complaining thing is that I don't think Sengun is overly demonstrative or has a bad attitude towards the referees. Luka, Draymond, Jokic...hell, even role-players like Pat Bev and Oubre are way more aggressive in their approach but it doesn't seem to be a problem--though they do get more technicals, it doesn't seem like how the referees call the game changes because of it. I honestly think that a lot of fouls go uncalled on Alpie and I have no clue as to why. Earlier in the season he was getting calls but not anymore...maybe once he gets a few more years of experience the refs will give him the benefit of the doubt
Any animosity that you perceive regarding Alpi on this message board is a direct result of fanaticism by Sengun only fans. It is of your own doing and you unfortunately lack the self-awareness to understand this or you are trolling which then I would say find a better hobby.
Ya there is nothing uniquely different about Sengun complaining to the refs. All players have stints when they are yapping at the refs.
I know I'm biased but I always think that the Rockets don't get the same calls that other teams do, though we are one of the league leaders in FTs I see plenty of plays where there's contact but no whistle. I guess every fan feels the same way, probably
Alpi has to understand that he was "Golden Boy" in Turkey but he is not there yet in NBA, still an outsider. Has to adapt as a clever person.
No I agree. It's probably the nature of just having a lot of young unproven players that haven't earned the respect of officials yet. It shouldn't be like this though. It shouldn't matter if you are a 19 year old rookie or a superstar with 15 years in the league. The rules should be applied evenly.
Last night was crazy for that to be fair. Smart was manhandling off ball most of the night and getting no calls for blatant rough physicality.
This should be Rocket’s Motto: Build around Green, and let the offense go through Sengun…Take the ball out of KPJ’s hands.
lol everything is salivating when projecting in future... but when these guys hit the nba floor nothing happens as imagined....jalen green was kobe and jabari was a defensive monster and a deadly sniper before draft....LOL and now these guys unable to execute on the simplest nba game actions
