Sengun averaged the same stats with better efficiency in a better league at age 18 the GOAT, the Franchise Saver, the 7'4 unicorn is averaging right now at age 18. So nobody is really a threat for Sengun's future in the NBA and i really hope the Rockets draft French Bol Bol so Sengun can find himself a franchise with less toxic fanbase
Remember the days when we had YOFs and TOFs arguing about which top 15 NBA player should have the ball more? Now we have people being somehow more rabid about players who are barely top 15 at their position. Good times.
you are fooled by silas....just because silas is holding him back, starving his usage and PT, his teammates not passing him the ball, it doesn't mean alpi is not one of the best NBA players...
Let me tell you a story. Bout ten years ago, there was a young whipper snapper round these parts named Jeremy Lin. Now Lin was an okay player, had some brief instances of, dare I say, great play, and was a positive contributor to the team, much like our friend Alpi. Lin in a vacuum was a likeable guy. He could have been a long time NBA player and a beloved player for the team. Now the problem was, with Lin, came this army of hyper sensitive fanbois who always thought he should be running this team. Now, every player on the team has their ups and downs. There are varying levels of fair and unfair criticisms thrown around to every player, but lord help you if anyone threw some shade towards ole Jeremy Lin. The feelings squad, with that hypersensitivity, would came at you with the word storm of broken English and bad grammar, like you can't imagine. Now...the sad part of it was, Lin was never singled out anymore than anyone else, but because the fanbois were so invested in protecting the honor of ole Jeremy, they turned every thread into a hurricane of tears and feelings. The constant whining, the victim mentality, and of course eventually turning on the team, city, coach, organization made the board in general just loathe those player only groupies and thus eventually, the player himself. It became a sad pathetic self inflicted death spiral. Now I think you know why I am telling you this...this is your story. Now how about we bottle up them feelings hmm? I think in the long run you will find your brief time on these boards more enjoyable.
You should post this one as a reply to larsv8. Poor guy can not evaluate any player without comparison to someone else. This guy creates 2 problems for me: The first from Susanne Bier's movie, Haevnen/In a better world.Someone was insulting Lars as pronouncing his name as Larsh I don't know whether we call him Lars or Larsh.Secondly how it is possible that someone's creative thinking is that low? No relation to namesake Lars von Trier.
The fan base is not toxic, just bitter loser individuals like @larsv8 are. I finally put him on ignore.
I can not figure out why everybody feels that it is mandatory to liken current players to someone from the past? What they did when Walt, Dr.J. Magic, Jordan, Hakeem, Mugsy, Yao,Lew Alcindor started to play. Respect but recently someone likened Jabari to Danny Manning. Why people can't see our players as they are. JGreen is JGreen, Nix is Nix, Sengun is Sengun.
I just shared objective, undeniable, factual stats of those 2 players you f*cking clown. I'm not responsible for the dumb conclusions you draw out of it. I don't even think Sengun is the best player on this team and i never said the offense should run through Sengun. So posting an essay based on your assumptions about me pretty much proves how pathetic you are.
