These Sengun and KPJ threads are getting more and more insufferable. People are tripping over any conceivable thing. Double standards, name calling everywhere.

It is fair to point the numbers as they seem contradicting what I observed by my eye test. Apart from the small sample size, and the fact that Bruno plays against weaker units(did not check, assumption), I think Sengun is a disadvantage playing with the 3 guard units which are very weak defensively at the perimeter. Sengun played Green-eg-kpj 309 minutes and Green-kpj-matthews 42 minutes, his 1st and 3rd used lineups. https://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/HOU/2023/lineups/ Sengun-KPJ-Green-EG-Bari Oreb% -0.9% DReb% -0.9% Fernando-KPJ-Green-EG-Bari Oreb% -5.7% DReb% -5.7% So it seems like it is a result of small sample size and sengun playing with the weaker 5 mostly. A few caveats. The percentages for both oreb and dreb are equal, so something is off. And I could not find player rebounding stats under certain line-ups. I still think Sengun is the better rebounder by my eye test, but I am more open to thinking the difference is less than I thought.
Sengun is a great rebounder! He is exceptional on the block in boxing out and positioning and is probably top 5ish league wide on the offensive glass. I don’t think anyone has said otherwise. I can also say that Bruno can board with the best of them and Garuba is no slouch. All of those things can be true at once.
If my memory serves me right, last year a lot of posters claimed that he won’t be a good rebounder. I was not in that camp but Sengun totally exceeded my expectations as well this year.
Sengun is efficient and consistent. Can't say the same for the other folks. Kpj Is hindering the development of everybody so it's hard to gauge the talent level of the youngsters. At this rate sengun will end up being the best uncontested simply cause of consistency while golden boy kpj hinders and delay the development of everybody else
Probably already been posted but I'm about sick of these players from other teams thinking they know anything when they don't even go on Clutchfans.
Wiggins also makes 9.5 times the money of Tari this year. This year: Wiggins $33,616,770 Tari: $3,527,160 Wiggins is good for them, but as far as value to contract, he costs lot of money for his "production".
