Completely agree! We definitely don’t need traditional PG, like who even have one of those these days lol. My problem is that KPJ needs to be better!
The top 3 "very English" movies I would suggest someone to watch (not necessarily the best but very English) 1. Kes (especially if you like "400 Blows" by Francois Truffeau) 2.Life of Brian 3.Lock,Stock And Two Smoking Barrels
Does he even know what the f**k he does? Clueless idiot with an adopted child so called “Kevin Porter, Team Chemistry Destroyer and Turnover King”
Alpi could jump over Boris Diaw's head. Diaw was a great passer but quite overweight. Alpi isn't overweight.
yep, not a good comparison but nevertheless i love it cause diaw was a smart player, and underrated, at least when i was watching him...
I could see early skinny Diaw with the Suns. But even then, Diaw was 23, three years ahead of Sengun in NBA experience. Like they really tried to feed him the ball last game. Sengun should have ended up with 15 fgas if not for the 3 passes to the ankles from the 3 guards and an additional couple of fumbles on his part. But my thing is you cut 50% of what he does best by having him strictly PnR. Malpractice.
I really feel that it's best for his growth and career to go to the bench temporarily. The organization seems dead set on treating KPJ like a #1 pick even altering the rotation to suit KPJ (playing Bruno, limiting play through Sengun, limited shots for Jabari). I don't like to remain stressed about something which can't be affected, so I expect this to continue at least until the 41 game mark. Sengun can get the same minutes with higher usage off the bench. I think he'll get to shoot and pass more, and being a 6th man it will be a respectable challenge that will aid his critical development of a 3pt shot and defense. He's struggling with both right now and it might be helpful for him to gain some confidence on the bench (taking more 3's, trying more passes) and show Silas what the team is missing out on in the starting line up. He pairs better with Tyty/Nix too. I think he'll earn a lot more clutch minutes as well this way. KJ and Tari would both benefit a lot from it too. Put Bruno or Garuba at starting C role for 15-20 minutes per game. Frees up shots for KPJ and Jabari and slightly improves the defense which tends to make a team more consistent. Don't take my suggestion as a negative in any way, if anything I just think it's a quicker path to developing into an All Star player. We need Sengun to learn defense, we need him to be able to hit wide open 3's and it's a shame for him not to develop his passing game in-season.
hell i wouldn't even mind for alpi to be sent down to the valley to play in g league if it means greater minutes, a better role and more touches...playing is essential to the growth...the painter must paint and the writer must write in order to prosper and perhaps even to remain sane......
i remember harden mysteriously suddenly doing most stupid passes when dmo enters the game...could be coincidence tho...
Agree with much of what you said, but I'm going to sound a bit like a SOF right now () in that I would rather see what KPJ looks like coming off the bench (plug in TyTy... he's looked good in limited minutes over Nix) and let the JG\Sengun pairing run the offensive show with the first unit. I'm more concerned with their development over KPJ's right now... that's me though. I know under the current coaching staff this most certainly won't happen as they appear committed to the course with KPJ but him to the bench serving the 6th man role would be my preference.
Frankt made a video and compared Diaw-Alpi in a way but as he stated Diaw came to NBA at 22,Alpi as 19 years old, Diaw as a role player, Alpi star-in-making. Liked Diaw but he was not nearby Alpi. Bigger Manu comparison is OK, skinnier Diaw not.
