He already has 100+ pages of comments written in this forum. For now he's drawing flak because he's already surpassed all expectations. He's only 19. He's played in only 20-odd NBA games. He's new to the NBA style played without definite plays drawn for each possession. It will be better to evaluate him at the end of the season.
lol i'm the oldest 42 year old kid. I have never said i want Sengun to be lesser than Green......................i support all of our players. I'm not the one who creates stupid threads like this proclaiming Sengun is our best player or those crazy DMo fans back in the day that thought he was great. Green is going to be amazing by the way, i'm glad both are on the Rockets team
You are a huge Green fan boy. I know it’s hard for you to accept he’s not as good as Sengun right now, so you crap on Sengun whenever you can.
lol i'm not crapping on anyone..........you're the one doing that Some of you fans are nuts if other people have a different view than you. You are like teenage school girls and think it is "hating" and also think everyone should have the same view as you lol i love the "right now" part..........................we didn't draft these players to be All Stars in just their rookie season, some of us know we are rebuilding and have to have patience
You have never seen me hate on Green, not once. I’ve seen several people try to devalue Sengun upside and what he’s doing.
i have not once said he doesn't have upside, not ever Just because someone says they don't think he is our best player, doesn't mean they don't see the upside upside is about the future, not the now
He legitimately has the upside to be the Rockets best player shortly. And is the undeniable best rookie on the team. At probably at worst the 3rd best player on the team currently.
i don't think there is a competition between them, that really doesn't matter. I love all our rookies, Stone did an amazing job drafting for the future
This is a team, there is always going to be competition. Not everyone can be the guy. That’s just what it is
You say a career 31.3% 3-pt shooter too lazy to cut waiting at the 3-pt line doesn't matter... Well, It does because this laziness is a tradition with this team. You don't care because we won the game? This could be a crunch time in a do-or-die game 2 years from now, and if Silas doesn't take the reins in his hand it's going to be the same: men being paid millions to wait around for the ball so they can chuck a 3. Will you be satisfied when he bricks that shot and we lose by 1? How I wish we had a Rip Hamilton clone...
Most of us are around that age now. We have favorites, that is the most common thing to have, but I do not care about them once they leave for greener pastures. All this "I want everyone to do well, is not going to happen", players will stand out. Some will be greater than others. I want Green to play, simply, because there is no other way to increase his value, I am not a fan or something. I am very blunt about this because diplomacy in sports doesn't do well and it could be nearing hypocrisy. (I would be judging each and every one of them if there was no late player development and literally anyone can blow up to be exceptional players)
He is going to launch them whether we like it or not. 1 point game, but did we miss any free throws in that game scenario
Huh? Gordon's an excellent 2 way player, you know you can't really gaslight when we've literally watched somebody play for years, right?
I wouldn't know about the free throws but the heckler behind the basket really got on Chris Wood's nerves and the freckled kid in the 9th row spilled his Coke on his mother's lap.
