Because I like basketball. Because as an engineer I want to see the resources to be used properly Because I like projections Because I think Sengun is underused Because I hate tanking culture Because I don't like young prospects (Alpi,KJM,Tari,Garuba,Josh,..)to be insulted/not rewarded. Is it enough for you?
well people told me silas is a good development coach and even if were losing a lot of games our guys keep getting better and better
if sengun gets traded how many times jalen green will visit this site? and silas? fans are more loyal than players/coaches... and if a team can tank why not the fans?
They will keep getting better naturally, as long as they have some sort of work ethic. But how much of their potential will they get to? The coach's job is to maximize this, to get out of players, skills, even the players might not be aware of, to put the players into roles that fit their talent set. As I said many times before, Silas has one offensive scheme and tries to fit players into that. All player development is a byproduct, if it actually happens.
i made it few posts back, you put 2 and 2 together.... btw you seems to forgot to answer, (or perhaps you thought it was a rhetorical question?) if teams are allowed and even encouraged to tank why the fans arent allowed to do the same and still be considered as the pure supporters/fans?
I see this team as JG/Sengun/Jabari, I’m afraid, and the system should cater to those 3. KPJ can work here, but he needs to not be used like he is James Harden. Someone with some balls needs to establish the pecking order.
This. We already have our big three. And we have Tari, Destiny as the hustle brothers, KMJ as the flying dunk machine and KPJ as "microwave" catch-and-shoot 6th man. I want to test TyTy as a starter.
he isn't used like he is James Harden...that is the point. Harden use to have the most front court touches on the team, Porter Jnr doesn't. Sengun gets the most front court touches.
Exactly. We must have been making the same point in two different threads (I, in the Sengun coast to coast thread) at the same time. I'm fine with KPJ running the bench and then playing off ball in the fourth, so that he still gets 30 minutes a night. I want the offense to run through Green as the primary ball handler and Sengun as the secondary handler/facilitator. We have some really great pieces. We just need a coach that will reinforce the roles these guys are playing with an iron fist. I think, depending on how we do in the draft and free agency, we should expect play in next year for sure.
