I don't know if he's giving up or he simply don't fit with the group. The others want to go quick and he prefers half court set.

If he's giving up then he's really NOT the best player on the team. In fact if he's giving up this early on, he's probably not good enough to be in the league long term. That's the literal polar opposite of "mamba mentality" it's b**** mentality.

Hey, he's not giving up on himself man.
He's giving uıp on the two-faced imbecile Houston calls coach and on the moronic bigots in the fanbase.
    He'll be gone soon.

I hope by "he" you mean the coach, not Alpi.

so harden wasnt the best player on rockets when he gave up ?
i like the idea tho...intangibles are heavily underrated and athleticism/stat padding is grossly overrated...

Sengun is not the best player, but he is one of the best players......he had a bad game in a bad matchup for him.....Looney is disciplined on D, doesn't go for the fakes - just stands straight up and is taller, quicker and more athletic.....Alpi needs to find a way to beat that as in the playoffs every team will be able to play this way once they focus on it.

Well, Kobe had the backing to take on even Shaq. That's how mamba mentality worked. How's this teenager from overseas suppose to have an attitude when he is on such a short leash? Even in the games that he is the best he gets benched for no reason at all.

What's left for him to do is throw a soup in general direction of Silas. When he does so, no one would take his side as they taken kpj's. He would be waived immediately.

Looney was so disciplined that he fouled out. Alpi did not foul out.

this is actually nonsensical to what he just said. Looney was disciplined against Sengun and wasn't biting on is fakes, that's why Sengun had a hard time scoring on him.

What does that have to do with Sengun not fouling out

Looney was NOT disciplined, he picked up several fouls against Sengun, which is why he fouled out. Sorry you did not understand that. It was actually quite easy to understand.

To say "Sengun had a hard time scoring against him" is also nonsensical, Sengun only attempted 3 shots, and that was NOT because Looney was so great.

when you say several fouls, you mean only 1 shooting foul right. He picked up a bunch of fouls position wrestling with Sengun which has zero to do with displinine in not biting on Sengun's fakes.

Sengun passed out multiple times out of the post because he couldn't get a good shot off against Looney, when he did try to shoot over Looney he missed.

If Looney wasn't so great, why didn't Sengun back him down and score on him like he does against other bigs. It's not like he didn't get chances. Sengun was really passive when he matched up 1 v 1 vs Looney

Because Looney was so scared of Sengun that he fouled him before Sengun even got to the point of shooting.

What? Looney was so scared, in that Sengun only took 2 shots against him 1 on 1. Some of the fouls were off ball and wasn't even Sengun posting up or anything close to it

also you want to explain why Sengun passed out of most 1 v 1 post up opportunities against Looney without double teams. This is without anyone fouling
