I wasn't trying to put Jalen down. I still think he could be our best player but at this moment I was just saying he wasn't cuz he doesn't really do much else. His defense has improved and his playmaking has improved but too many times this year you look at his box score and he has 0 rebounds or 1 asssist. He needs to bulk and up and fight for more position. You can tell he was a dude thst just used his athleticism before because he doesn't really do the little things that contribute to winning. These last few games he's just played much better and gotten his assists up. But watching the games you can't tell me he's a better passer than Sengun. He gets more opportunities so therefore should have more assists. The team just plays better the more a Sengun is involved. Jalen especially plays better if only dumb Silas could see this.
If you mean he will finish his career 3rd or 4th best sure. But if you are asking right now. He's already the best. Dude is top 20 is PER.
I think he is the best player in that draft. Jalen the second best. These two should be whom we should build around.
@Easy look at where your boy ego is, the best player on the rockets, 200th something ...lololol if only he cared more hed be an nba champion and I would drive ferrari if only I cared to get up early and go to work and do this for 20 years...
This is really cool, thanks for sharing it. I like when they average them all together since each of these all inclusive metrics have their strengths and weaknesses. Obviously the resulting list isn't perfect and shouldn't be taken as dogma or anything, but very interesting nonetheless.
LMAO... this is why it's hard for me to take you guys seriously. I mean I'm a homer, but the ridiculousness that is posted. It's why I don't post as much about Sengun because the hype is already over the top. So now Sengun is better than... Cade Cunningham, Jalen Green, Evan Mobley, Scottie Barnes, and Franz Wagner... . Don't bother to respond because I know that you are going to stand by your post and try to give me some justification... but save your keystrokes. You're wrong.
Iverson comes to mind. Green has better size though. The thing is, he is not strong enough for now. If he doesn't fill out in a couple of years, he won't get to that level. Again, that's my point. Having all the "unicorn" athletic ability without being at an elite scoring level is meaningless.
Did you comprehend my point? I said IF GORDON IS MOTIVATED. He obviously is not motivated at this point.
And you were wrong. I gave you the stats and if you've watched the games (especially) the last few it should be obvious that he is a playmaker... right?
I don't care what you think. You have been here since 1999 but I never even noticed you until now. Bye.
LOL. Pretty much what I expected. Insults normally appear when an intelligent argument cannot be made. I don't come here to be noticed. I come to talk Rockets and get insight from other posters whose opinions I value. P.S. You are not one of them.
What insult? You just haven't posted much. So unlike some other posters, most people won't know what you stand for or what you don't stand for. There is nothing wrong with not posting much, obviously, but you might as well be some random poster who just registered a year ago. Nobody cares because basically, nobody "knows" you. That's not an insult. As to whether Alperen Sengun is better or not better than the players you listed - your opinion is just that, an opinion. Again, nobody cares about your opinion. Others have other opinions.
Okay, I just looked up a few of the posts of this unknown poster @O-dawg - looks like history is repeating itself. He was a huge Francis fan, always defending Francis and the way he played, and ******** on Yao whenever he could. Now he's doing the same thing with the guards vs. Alpi. At least he is consistent in being wrong.
Stats are meaningless without context. Jalen used Probsbly 3x the possessions Sengun has. So he should have more assists with more opportunity. At this point Jalen is more of a get tripled team dump off passer. The rockets need more ball movement and guys willing to just pass it around instead of last minute attacking then passing.
