HAHAHAHA ! i recognize my beautiful paint work and wit here... i forgot about this caricature already and found it randomly searching twitter... BEAUTIFUL AND I CALLED IT!
Sengun is the best player of this team right now. Clearly. You don't bench your best player, you get rid of the coach who can't appreciate the player he is. This should be non-negotiable to me.
Sengun is our hub. Im a huge believer in Green but Sengun is the only player on the roster who makes those around him better.
crazed fans in the chase center or the other gsw arena were acting irrational and too personal... but they both had a great time and helped their team win it all... no way steph could have done it without them.... gsw crowd was their 6th man...
For one, that’s patently false. There has to be a best player, every team good and bad has a “best” player. It’s debatable who that will be in the future, right now it’s Alp
And 3 games later when one player has absurd efficiency on a hot streak it will be that player. It's that fickle era where one week it will be one player and the other week it's another. I think it's clear that Green has the highest ceiling. He consistently collapses defenses. His issue is slowing the game down once he does. That is a universal constant for young guards. Young guards have to absorb more knowledge than young bigs. Green has to figure out defenses at three levels(perimeter, mid, paint). You see this constantly with star guards when they were 19 and 20 with bottom of the league advanced winning star categories. It's because their burden of creating off the dribble against three levels of defense takes time to figure out. It's much easier to come into the league like a Sharpe or Mobley who can be merely play finishers rather than shot creators.
Yes, it can change. That’s the nature of it. And no, I don’t think it’s clear Green has the highest upside. I think he has a high upside for sure, but I wouldn’t put it above any of Alp, Jabari or Tari personally. You’ve repeated that about 3 level defense against. I disagree, specially in a spaced out offense. You beat your man and that’s pretty much it. Doesn’t matter where you are on the court. Face up, back to basket it’s still iso. In fact, right now Green has a simple job. Score.
