I remember when some guys were really hating on Green last season. Just like they were wrong, the people hating on Alpi will be wrong.
seein the way that our offense is being run, I think this is the most reasonable conclusion. KPJ isn't skilled enough to run half court offense which sengun excels at, couple with the weakness of Sengun's D. I still think Sengun has potential to b great, he will most likely b relegated to the bench when a better center that fits kpj style appears.
"He's an average player. I think we can all agree on that." Lol why. "He's not our best player." That's true. "He's just 20 yrs old." Interesting. Looking forward to Sengun and KPJ flip flopping on being the most volatile Rocket on CF this year.
Amen... Besides, this is not "Where's Joker?" - this is basketball. For the sake of continuing to play "state-the-obvious", Sengun isn't Devin Booker either.
LOL who is the best player on the rockets then? eric gordon?! get outa here! alpi would have beaten the **** out of any rocket 1 vs 1 its only silas who is stopping him and his ballhoging teammates if alpi were our PG last year we could have been in the playoffs...with the rest of the chuckers leading the way we were the worst team in NBA
This is the narrative we'll be hearing all year when Sengun under achieves smh And Jalen Green is our best player. Eric Gordon, KPJ and Tate after him
have people already forgotten how good the rockets looked the first preseason game? it took Sengun's worst game to already be out on him? it's very strange. We have seen Sengun take over games against more athletic teams like the Lakers and Grizz last year. Sengun as a toddler was giving Lebron and 3J the business.
Simple observation: Alperen is our most important player. Let's congratulate his "Republic Day". Long live Alpi, long live Republic.
Sengun like many big men need the ball at the post to be effective. Our team features KPJ and Green and the solely purpose for the center is screening. Just close this thread already, he won't be the best player on this team. He actually improves a lot this year but he played like he wants to get the coach fired. You can notice his body language on the court, he didn't even look at Silas when he went to the bench.
He is clever enough to realize Silas&Co want to destroy him. I am sure that Alpi is more important to Houston than a transition coach.Silas had a chance to be good with a talented squad but he opted to be "KPJ's legend". Hopeless guy, should be fired before he throws up.
This is the guy who we should run the offense through…..He has the awareness and court vision to creat open looks for others. A very poor man’s version of Jokic if you will. Instead the coach extraordinar would rather run the offense through a one dimensional chucker/ extreme tunnel vision to go with zero playmaking skills that literally makes no one better.
Jokic's second year stats were : 16.7 points, 9.8 rebs, 4.9 assists in 28 minutes. Except assists Alpi is there with 15 points,10 rebs in 25 minutes. A poor man Jokic might be but "a very poor man's Jokic" is little bit underestimating.
