I guess they count only eurobasket final stage only. Don't forget Eurobaskets were held with less teams, more physical and total points were around 140 per game. Yesterday's 4 matches' average was 180.5 (three 94-86 and one 94-88).

If we consider other games (Euro qualification, world cup qualification,..) I guess we might find other names such as Hedo Turkoglu, Mehmet Okur, Mirsad Turkcan, Ersan Ilyasova and most probably Ibrahim Kutluay. Kutluay was the best shooter, the first Turkish Euro-league champ, 4th Turkish NBA player (wrong team, Seattle and he did not want to back Ray Allen up and returned to Europe). If Kutluay did not score 20 points back to back it should be 25 points-19 points-30 points-18 points-24 points-19 points zigzag. He scored more than 3000 points for Turkey.

Some higlghts from back to back Euro2001 semi-final and final games (in italian with young Nowitzki)

really didnt understand turkiye coach here.. ALPI WAS the mvp IN FRONT OF LARKIN 2years ago...still he didnt give alpi the ball and didnt use him much...

how come you not arrange your teams play around your best guy?

must be nepotism because the national coach is also coaching EFES, his local team and he favored his collegues/teammates playing for him in the same club instead of alpi...
perhaps MVP in turkey is not such a prestigious award after all?

Last season Alpi hit the ball directly to Dennis Schroder's head. Dennis woke up and Rockets won the game.

I guess another person hit his head today. He destroyed Greece and Giannis today. He is the best basketball player in the world (just for today ) at the very moment.

Well done Dennis, it was a good hit Alpi.

BERLIN -- Giannis Antetokounmpo got ejected, and Greece's hopes of bringing home a European championship ended not long afterward.

Germany, meanwhile, is taking full advantage of its home-court edge.

Dennis Schroder scored 26 points, Daniel Theis had a 13-point, 16-rebound effort and host Germany moved into the EuroBasket semifinals with a 107-96 win over Greece on Tuesday.

This was the best Sengun-Schroder co-op from the last season:

    Schroder: 23 points,9 assists, 6 rebs
    Alpi: 22 points,10 rebs.

Hmm, is that Jabari that he hugs before Boban?
If so, Alp has grown. Legit 6’10, Jabari and him are exact same height

If anything Alp looks taller than Jabari, definitely not shorter
