Kobe wouldn't look right in a Pistons uni.

kobe's not going anywhere on the lakers in the west.

if he went to detroit and paired with billups and wallace they'd have as good a shot at winning the east as anyone else out there.

I'm so sick and tired and Kobe and A-Rod, the drama queens, b****ing and moaning for attention.

They may be the best at their craft, but I wouldn't want my kids to look up to either one given their atrocious characters.

Let him rot in LA. He'll never win another championship again.

His stats look much better without Shaq, but it's obvious who really was the winning player carrying the team. I'll never consider Kobe to be at the same level of Jordan, Hakeem, Bird, Magic, etc.

He clearly ran Shaq out of town so he can bump up his scoring average with a few years of > 30 ppg. Good job, Kobe...

I only watched the first half of tonight's game, so maybe he sucked in the second half, I don't know. I've said it before, but maybe he ran Shaq off, maybe he is an egomaniac, drama queen, whatever you want to call him. I don't care. There's no one single guy in the league, Lebron James included, that I would rather watch play than Kobe Bryant. Michael was better, no doubt, but I don't think Michael was this skilled. And sure, at the end of the day, two points is two points and true skill level is pretty irrelevant, but from purely an aesthetics level, as a FAN of basketball, how can you not love watching this guy play? The relentless attacking of the basket, the pull up mid range jumpers, the ball fakes.

Please trade this guy to a contender in the East. The league will benefit.

    Lakers Depth Chart

Look, the Lakers are actually pretty deep and an ok team. If Kobe gets traded, I don't see how his new team could be better than the current Lakers. If I was in charge I would let this season play out and see how far the Lakers could go.

What would they paint on that building outside the Staples Center to replace the Kobe mural?

I agree. This is a nice un-biased post from a basketball standpoint. Kobe is a joy to watch.

If Osama bin Laden was a better basketball player than Michael Jordan, would you enjoy watching him play?

note to dumbass: ANY team would be depleted after trading for you.

Please realize your best situation is in LA.

    Kthx.

LEt's trade him for Tmac and Stevie.

And of course, he can't co-exist with James, ship him too. ;)

you can make an argument kobe is a better scorer than mike. but if you want to talk about aesthetics, i think mike wins handsdown. actually kobe has copied a lot of mike's moves, for example that baseline spin move on 2 knicks then dunk on ewing but everytime kobe tries to pull it off it makes me cringe because it's so not smooth compared to mike's. there's a lot of stuff that mike did kobe can't, for example, one-handed ball fake cause kobe can't palm the ball like mike. and mike's a much better dunker, no doubt.
