    WHAT IS THE SYSTEM????

    THAT WAS THE QUESTION.

YOUR ATTEMPTS TO DIVERT FROM THIS SIMPLE REQUEST WITH YOUR WELL KNOWN TANGENTIAL SHENNANIGANS IS WHY I CONSTANTLY CALL YOU OUT.

This. Two keys cogs of this current iteration of the Rockets rebuild have pretty unstable back stories.... that's why we got Wood on a cheap contract and got KPJ off the scrap heap.

Wood clearly has skill, but struggles with the team concept when it's not an elite point guard like Harden feeding Wood.

KPJ flashed last year, but that 50 pt game and his assists probably led to unrealistic expectations when he became THE point guard.

I'd be surprised if Silas sticks with the Rockets in two years, but that doesn't mean he is completely clueless like some here suggest.

LOL. The system is organic as Silas has said..... The thread literally shows in video form how Silas runs plays and sets..... The numbers I posted show how much we run PNR... how much we try and focus on transition.... etc......

You are trying to play gotcha with semantics because Silas's "system" doesn't have a name but is dependent on the situation. Do you deny that Silas runs plays/sets throughout the game? Do you deny that Silas's game plan is getting out in transition instead of focusing on half court?

    You are such a hack.

All of CF were on cloud 9 at end of last season because Rockets got multiple steals with Wood, KPJ, Tate, KJ.

Wood was MIP and All Star contender prior to injury while KPJ outplayed Jalen Green and most every other player in G League.

Both KPJ and KJ also improved weekly after getting called up to NBA.

Tate won All Rookie 1st Team.

Just 10 games into new season with 5 key new rotation players, EVERY player and entire team looks like straight sewage including top 2 pick.

Now knee jerkers (stress on jerk) are wanting to trade away EVERY young asset over 25.

Do you ever get tired of being wrong?

So their is no system? Fastbreak is not a system.

Half court is at least half the game, not sure if you understand that.

And Rockets transition offense is not very efficient, especially when the bigs trigger fastbreak by dribbling up court.

Does Silas believe in outlet passes at all?

    LOL

So most injured roster in NBA history excuse last season.

What is your excuse THIS season?

Silas is blaming injuries again, hilarious.

    Define system.

So you didn't look at the overall team numbers... none of our offense is very efficient and all of it is pretty turnover prone.

Wood still deserves a shot to improve, but if the opportunity comes to get a better long term fit at his position, he should be moved. The KPJ at point guard experiment needs to end now. His future in the NBA is as a 6th man/spark plug off the bench.

Everything wrong with this offense summed up in the one sentence:

we don’t score more than our opponents

Turns out that roster isn't very good without injuries either! Whoops!

Turns out KPJ transition to point guard isn't going to be as optimistic as the Rockets group think twitter thought.....

    10 games.

Isnt that the Green Only Fans mantra?

KPJ position may very well not be PG, but its ridiculous to think that he would learn AND transition to position in less than HALF a season's worth of play time.

    How Trump like.....

No, us true, rational Rockets fans don't overrate our own players while the fanbois overrate our own players.

So then you agree with me that we should have a more patient approach..... Great!

No this is not true. Your posts are pure bullshit. I could just as easily call you a cryer because thats all youve been doing in this thread no matter whoyoure replying to. Youre mad people dont like your daddy lol Its plain to see and the only way for you to defend him now is to pretend like no matter what he does we dont like it because we dont like him. You ignore every legitimate reason everyone has given you to try to make it personal and delegitimize what was said because at this point thats all you have. Youre the one crying. This guy hasnt changed his starting lineup at all except with injury and even then he goes right back to the nonsense when the person recovers, so your entire post is bullshit.

This rebuild is going to separate the fanbois from the true Rockets fans…

    Best of luck!

    And we're back.

    Patient approach, yes.

    But WHAT is the approach????

There is no effective system in place and roles are ill defined or erroneously assigned.

Even a flip flopper like you can see this.

KPJ picked up his dribble way too often.

I think it should be both. If the franchise decided Green is the one then they need to build the team to help him develop. IMHO I think it is too early. Green still have so much to work on. I don't expect him to be an average starter player until his 3rd year anyway. Let's see how much muscle he can gain next year. Hopefully this season he can be more consistent with his shot and defense.

Approach.... system.... define these terms mr flip flopper!!!

I already posted our general offensive numbers and told you what the "approach" / "system" / "game plan" but that's not sufficient for you. You don't seem to want to believe that Wood is a terrible screen setter (as posted in several videos in this thread), which is probably why Theis is out there so much. You acknowledge KPJ is struggling mightily but you don't want to acknowledge how that is affecting everything downstream. I'm not arguing that Silas is a good coach, but just wait and see how this plays out...... you want a "system" but the guys can barely not turn it over.

We are literally struggling to do basic things. It's just going to take time for this rebuild.

I have been impressed with Silas this year the fact that we have been in so many games in the 4th is impressive IMO.

Especially considering we have no cornerstone player or a trure pg.

There are a lot of unrealistic expectations for this team at this point in a rebuild.
