LeBron, Wade, and Bosh and a team of minimum contracts is NOT a guarantee to win a championship. Too many chiefs, not enough indians.

The 72 win bulls were the greatest team in nba history. They had overwhelming talent, like this hypothetical Heat team, but they also had great fit. They had the #1 guy, a #2 guy who fit perfectly around the #1, great shooters to take advantage of open looks, the greatest garbage man of all time, and smart, Morey-type role players with great chemistry who knew their roles and didn't try to do too much, and the perfect coach. The pecking order was set and no one revolted.

The Heat team on the other hand has a promising, but relatively inexperienced, head coach, 2 guys who both demand the ball (2 #1s basically), a good fit in Bosh, not enough good shooters to spread the floor, nor garbage men, nor scrappy role players around them. I still think they would be the frontrunners to win the ship, but are by no means a historic lock like the 72 win bulls were. Neither LeBron nor Wade are good spot up 3 pt shooters. Teams would just pack the paint against them or play zone.

Thats why you just pick up 3 pt. specialists for cheap. you already have Wade, James, and Bosh for scoring anything inside the 3 pt line. throw a few Steve Novaks in the mix and a chuck hayes type player and they will be virtually unstoppable.

Not a basketball historian by any means, but would LeBron James going to the Clippers make him the best player ever to play for the Clippers organization?

Lebron is going to Chicago to try to bring the Bulls franchise closer to the Celtics and Lakers, and by the time Lebron leaves the bulls, the franchise will have won 13 Championships. Chris Bosh will sign where Lebron signs, and Derrick Rose will become one of the top 5 closers in the NBA.

Call me now for a bumbaclot reading lol

Kobe is the chief on the Lakers and Pierce is the chief on the celtics. LeBron and Wade are both chiefs.
