Not that 1 inch is that important but it seems most say 7'5" but others (mainly w/n the Rox) say 7'6".
He's 7'6" with shoes, is what I heard. But I also read he grew an inch since he last was checked. (when he was 7'5".)
"Actually, 7'6"" NBA player's listings' are with shoes on. If Hakeem is 7'0", and Barkley is 6'6", then Yao is 7'6". Go ahead and be consistent and list him at 7'6", even if the Chronicle doesn't want to do the same.
I think the Chronicle changed it. They said he grew an inch since they last checked him and they put him at 7'6" now. (I think.)
It depends on when you're measured... try this at home kids... meassure yourself in the morning and then measure yourself at night when you're about to go to bed. You'll find that you've shrunk almost an inch. Cuz of cartlidges(sp) shrinking and expanding.
No, the Chron said the Rockets listed him at 7'6" in shoes. The NBA lists him at 7'5". The Chron says they will list him as 7'5" according to the front page of sports today.
Oh. I remember reading one of their articles saying he grew an inch and they began using 7'6". But I guess they changed it. I haven't read their articles lately.
Players are listed with shoes on. Yao measured 7'6 1/4 with shoes on, and he is 7-5 without shoes, so he should be listed at 7-6.
