In case anyone is interested in watching Allen play his first game. http://www.realsportz.net/watch/373...esiktas-vs-bc-hemofarm-stada-live-stream.html I know this technically doesn't belong in the Dish, but I figured since it was Allen Iverson it was worth posting here.
He scored 2 points in his next game. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=AqfQ_TS4ef_qwBMUsJvOFN68vLYF?slug=ap-besiktas-iverson http://www.eurobasket.com/boxScores/Turkey/2010/1121_1035_327.asp It's not looking good so far for AI.
Damn...AI not even good enough to play in Turkey No assists, just 4 rebs and 2 points to go along with 1-8 shooting and 3 turnovers. I wonder what the owner of TurkeyCola thinks about AI now...

I don't think that's necessarily true. Josh Childress didn't see a rise in his scoring numbers when he went to Europe.
Yeah, I think you're right. But I was responding to a statement about the Euro league. Plus, given the possible difference in pace and style, it still isn't necessarily true that a guy should average more points there than in the NBA.
