I wouldn't mind. It sounds like a great idea to have him here. Allen Iverson is a baller but the thing is Iverson needs a team all by himself just like he had in his 76ers days. It would be impossible to ask Iverson to change his game up that would fit Yao and McGrady's game. Also your asking A.I to run the point for us and thats basically having another Aaron Brooks but with experience. Iverson is no point guard. He is a straight up scorer.

A Healthy McGrady, Yao, and Iverson would not mesh well. McGrady is our playmaker and has the ball in his hands most of the time. Iverson loves the ball in his hands and Yao has the ball in his hands. 3 ball stoppers in the starting lineup with no ball movement would be watching JVG style of play all over again. So there for I believe Iverson shouldn't be thought of. Less is sometimes better than having a great talent. Sometimes the big splash is not always the right answer. :D

Who is to say Artest is going to be here next year?? Artest can easily walk. There is no guarantees that he is going to be here next year.

I would say "No" to Iverson. There's no question he has heart and determination, but he'll never become apart of the team concept which is something the Rockets look like they're gearing towards.

As well, I agree with Super Von. The Bucks were trying to trade Ramon Sessions before the deadline because they know they won't be able to pay him when he becomes a UFA this offseason. If the Rockets aren't content with the PG tandem of AB & Lowry after this year, I would definitely be open to the idea of trying to get Sessions in Houston.

Ya lets waste 10 to 12 million to end up like Detroit. Barely making the playoffs.

I don't really see Artest going anywhere. Were going to throw good enough money at him anyway and he is already on a contending team with a coach he loves to play for.The only person you can't really gaurantee is going to be here is Mcgrady.

no thx. hes just not a team player. i mean the fact that he said he needed huge mins to get going pretty much tells u he only care about himself.

For 10 to 12? You buy the Rockets with all your money. I bet he doesn't get a full MLE contract this offseason.

if ron doesnt sign here incase? i think he could keep out playoff hopes alive. without tmac for another few months and artest if he bails, would make our team look really bad. brooks, wafer, battier, scola, yao. I dont think that is a playoff team, im expecting Tmac back around feb.

why not sign him, THE MAN SAID HE CAN PLAY 18 MINUTES IN HIS SLEEP! that's phenomenal and deserving of a multi million dollar contract, just give him some sleeping pills and throw him on the court, destined to win!

if u think brooks' defense is bad, just wait till you see Iverson. he is worse than steve nash defensively.

AI, has already stated that he would rather retire than come off the bench.... Supposely this is the reason for the HURT BACK (Hint Hint)

Talent wise - it is a no brainer.

    Chemistry wise - No.

We already have our ball stopper in Artest.

Might as well sign stevie franchise again, and we can run the oh so feared stevie and yao offense that landed us the 8th seed in the playoffs.

only if morey can sign AI for vet min, yes...
clearly rox needs an elite PG to run the offense...but, AI is not a PG...hopefully morey can somehow get nash or Kidd for cheap...

If we resign Artest, and if we could get Iverson for a one year MLE deal this summer, I say sign him instead of Von Wafer, worth the gamble.

apparently not everyone heard about AI not wanting to come off the bench. This whole injury thing is faker than Clutch's birthday cake splatter, they just didnt want any drama and sat him down.

We dont need someone whos not willing to do whatver it takes to win off the floor. I'd rather pay Kidd, he'd facilitate our offense without needing to take shots as well, plus he's a great rebounder.

    No.

AI is a hurted Brooks, so why get him??

I think, if we can sign Steve Nash, it's enough to win CHMP.

    Yao,Scola,Artest,Battier,Nash + Landry,Brooks,Lowry,Hayes,Barry

and Trade Tmac out before saying "so perfect".
