    Iverson isnt broke because someone in his close circle was smart enough to set up a long term bond that he cant touch. He still gets about 1 million annually so he is still very well off..

    I'm sure that divorce costed him an arm and a leg. I still don't understand why the woman gets half his fortune. She didn't earn anything. He was born with a gift, not her. There should be a cap on how much one can take in a divorce.

    So he's still got $30 mil waiting on him.

    The thread title is still true, Iverson is on rough times (unnecessarily).

    Great read. Sad to see how sports athletes go broke like this. They really have no one but themselves to blame for the way they spend and live their lives.
