True, but a greedy wife was the least of AI's problems. Try alcohol and gambling.

Like I said in another thread, I thought it was fairly common knowledge AI was broke and was why he resorted to playing in Turkey.

i think steve francis is more money smart than ai. hes got money invested wisely so that he can provide for his kids. and yes AI's best friends are jack daniels and blackjack (or texas hold em or whatever)

After his crash and burn in Memphis and Philly, it was a given no NBA team wanted AI. A player his age with a sorry attitude doesn't get another chance right away after such spectacular failures.

But dire finances forced him to play in a secondary league in Turkey. He's gotta have money.

Hey you've got to give athletes credit, they do their part to stimulate the economy, they make sure the trickle down effect works. Got to get other rich people to learn from these guys....

Actually, the home that he bought for his mom was sold in a tax auction, last year, because he hasn't been able to pay the taxes.

How am I not surprised at this revelation? The guy pulled one of the biggest douche moves ever by calling out his coach and teamates before during the NBA Finals, basically admitting defeat.

How sad that this happened to someone of his talent. I hope he picks himself back up because I personally really liked watching him
