I'm quite sure they do. On the internet, a team of any 5 best players always beats a team of the 5 best positional players. This is no place for nuances like positional skills.
This team would incinerate any Opposing Force but a game against Shaq Duncan Larry Bird Jordan Magic Johnson Well, that would be a real Barn Burner
Pippen cant be on this team not simply because he was a stinking pile of ****, but also because he literally was a stinking pile of **** when he was here. A young Kobe absolutely destroyed Pippen in the playoffs.
Plow, Ralphie at 4 & 5? Yao was better and def more supportable. Sampson hated the idea of being a 5. Wanted to be a 3. Or even a 1. But then Hakeem's eye socket was clocked and Ralph became Sampson in the Post. If he just would have been what he was he could have, he should have been one of the GREATS! Remember how Magic made him ASG MVP? (sigh)
My personal 15-man roster PG-Harden/PatBev/Moochie Norris SG-Clyde/Kenny Smith/Vernon Maxwell SF-Battier/Horry/Ariza PF-Hakeem/Thorpe/Scola C-Malone/Yao/Mutombo
Yeah, I loved Magic... and Ralph..that was good stuff. 21 & 11 @ the 5 ..ROTY...The Rockets felt like Dream needed to be at the 5..and due to Ralph's "versatility" ,they moved him out, where he proceeded to get hurt...I loved the Twin Towers, but a heavy price was paid. Were it not for the injury, Sampson would have been an all time great...
Have to add this...I've always felt like Ralph wouldn't have had the knee issues and would have put up mammoth numbers if he was kept at the 5. I love and respect Yao, but a healthy Ralph would have eventually put up 27 and 13. And Sampson was a better defensive player.

For me it's what they did as rockets... The 15 man roster C : Dream, Moses, Yao PF: OT, Horry, Landry SF: Rudy T, Battier, Reid SG: Drexler, TMac, Mad Max PG: Harden, Murphy, Francis
Are we building a team or just best Rockets player by position? If by position then (only counting their Rockets tenure) Hakeem Sampson McGrady Drexler Harden If we are building a team with Rockets players (again, only counting their Rockets tenure) C: Dream - best center (and player) in Rockets' history. I build the team around him, not find ways to accommodate others regardless of how great Moses was. PF: Artest - defense, intensity, could work as a stretch 4, plus seems strong enough to bang in the post against some 4s. SF: McGrady - the secondary creator Harden needs. Not having to be the primary everything would probably magnify his game. (I'm thinking Orlando TMac scoring with Toronto Tmac defense and sprinkle in some Rockets Tmac initiator) SG: Beverley - honestly I am just biased and the only thing he has over my other 2 choices (Clyde or Maxwell) is that he is a better 3 point shooter. PG: Harden - amazing that he has earned this spot after one season as a point guard. 2nd Team All-Rockets Moses Sampson Rudy T Clyde Murphy 3rd Team All-Rockets Yao Horry Battier Mad Max Lowry Honorable mention: Skip to my Lou (I mean how many point guards were brought in that we thought would replace him? He had to be traded away to lose his starting spot...ironically probably cost the Magic a title being replaced as the starter)
Beard TMac Drex Hakeem Moses ... if I can't use Hakeem or Moses at forward, put Hakeem at center and drop Hayes in at pf....
