First, BTNH has at least 20 songs that would qualify as some of the best ever.

Then, Tupac has about ten by himself.

    Then, you got the rest:

Ice Cube - Today was a good day
Do or Die - Po Pimpin'
Dre ft Snoop - Nothin' but a G thang
JayZ - Can I get a..., Hardknock life, a bunch of others
Nas - (he has lots of good ones)
Dead Prez - More than Hip Hop
Warren G ft Nate Dogg - Regulate
Chamillionaire - In love with my money
    Scarface - Smile, My Block
DMX - (has a bunch of good ones)
    50 Cent - many men
    Ja Rule - clap back
    Method Man - Getaway
Biggie - One more chance, Victory, Notorious Thugs (ft BTNH)
Bizzie Bone - His entire first solo album is the BOMB!
Krayzie Bone - Anything this guy does is great
LL Cool J - Shut 'em down
    Busta Rhymes - Ante Up

Damn, it's hard to recall everything, there must be hundreds more that I like.

Excellent List right there, Gotta have some Kast and Til I Collapse is my favorite Em track.

I have to admit i haven't been into rap lately as much as I once was. There just haven't been many good albums to come out lately. Chamillionaire's was probably the only one worth listening through. Kanye cleaned up only by default because this was certainly a gimmick song/r&b year.

 I can't believe I spent 30 minutes on that post

Dude, I think can read my mind. Besides a catchy song here and there rap really sucks nowadays.

Chamillionaire and a Nelly song here and there is all there is nowadays.

I hear my wife tell me all the time to stop playing old songs in the car but I got nothing else to listen to. I got the Biggie Duets CD just to get a taste of what songs used to be like.

Talking about how rap used to be so much better is soooooooo played out.

There's plenty of good rap out there...Kanye, like him or not, has really come into his own as a rapper...he was already an outstanding producer...Jay-Z will probably un-retire soon...Common just released what's probably his best or second best album to date...Talib Kweli just released a new album...TI's due for a classic...Outkast is around, Nas is around, AZ just released an amazing album.

    Rap's not dead...at all.

Re-read what you typed. I will give you Kanye, that is about it. Everything else you typed basically says people are due up, or it was thier best album yet. Common is not that good. So his best album will not be that great. Outkast has not come out with a great song in 2.5 years. You are wrong my friend.

Looking at your list of safe choices it's clear that Common is probably a bit over your head.

Biggie, Pac, Biggie, Pac, Eminem, Snoop, Outkast, Jay Z, Nas, Busta, Ludacris, Kayne, Run DMC, Wu Tang...

Seems like you came up with that list hoping not to get flamed.

seeing as there's maybe 2 references to A Tribe Called Quest and several references to rappers suchs 50 Cent, Young-Jeezy, and the like... i'm forced to believe that many of yall wouldn't know good hip-hop if it punched you in the face.

BE was a good album but it wasnt better than One Day It'll All Make Sense or Like Water For Chocolate.

Outkast has a new album called "Idlewild" coming out soon.
