A lot of the people who respond to those polls are stupid... After all, one of the NBA.com polls had us finishing 1st in the Southwest!
I saw this earlier today. Why is Hakeem not leading 100% to 0%? Clearly there are a lot of people voting who have never seen Hakeem play. I feel old...
No doubt Hakeem was awesome when he played, but some might still remember the way his career ended. He held this town hostage for a long time during negotiations (while all the other top free agents signed elsewhere). My mind is blank on the other free agents at the time, but this board was pretty HOT about Hakeems motives. Especially in the end, when there was no doubt he never truthfuly wanted to come back under Rudy.
Agree. Anyone doesn't win anything or at least comes close to win something, should never be considered great, not to mention all time great. Starting from the lottery year, nobody since then should be on the list.
For me, 90% + is just as good as 100%. Because you just can't expect people think all alike, even it's the most obvious and logical thing. Some people act and think differently, because they are different. But some people do things differently, only because they want to be different or just act differently.
