    Astro Killers (not in order)

    Jim Edmonds (enough said)
Walt Weiss (one of the best defensive plays in postseason history)
Kevin Brown (one of the best pitch games in postseason history)
    Ryan Klesko
    Andruw Jones
    Chipper Jones (enough said)
    Albert Pujols
Scott Rolen (game 7 homer was the nail in the coffin)
Jim Leyritz (still can't believe he hit an opposite field homer in the gray seats)
    Greg Maddux
    Tom Glavine
    Aramis Rameriz

You know, if we came up with someone at 2B, this could be a fairly decent team of Astros killers. The only one that really comes to mind right now is Fernando Vina. That dude was a pest to the extreme. But, I'm sure there are some more that someone cold come up with. And someone at 3B that people have left out was Vinny Castilla. I remember him taking MANY a Billy Wagner fastball and depositing them in the upper deck of the Dome, to either tie or take the lead in those games.

Last couple of years Jack Wilson has really beaten us up.

This year he is hitting .350 against us with 3 homers, and only .242 overall with 8 homers.

Tony Eusebio for being so slow that he couldn't beat out that play. I think anyone else on the team would have been safe.

Dante Bichette had some pretty good years against us.

For some reason Tony Armas Jr. has had many eye-opening starts against us. Also, some of the UH guys (woody williams, for example) have done well against us.

But as far as all time, Tom Glavine HAS to be #1, followed by Edmonds/KBrown/Dykstra, all of whom are a distant second to Mr. imaginary outside corner (notice how these days his stats vary from game to game, always depending on the strike zone).

Greg Maddux, and hell, every Atlanta Braves player in the 90's gets an honorable mention.

I've always wondered knowing how every team in Houston seems to have a "killer" ......... I wonder if any player from a Houston team is known as a "killer" to fans of other teams ? I know Oswalt is the "Reds Killer" . :D

A freind of mine from Chicago who is a Cubs fan says that Biggio is known as a "Cubs Killer" . Thats cool to know that we have atleast one player one one of the local teams that just kills teams , and that we're not alone with this feeling .

The two guys that stand out in my mind as my personal all time Astros killers are Walt Weiss , and Brian Jordan . Weiss for throwing Bagwell out at home on that seemingly impossible play in the playoffs , and Brian Jordan for getting "The Hit" as my freinds and I refer to it that same year .

I'm going to have to second the notion of Brian Jordan. Some friends and I joke around that the only absolute in life nowadays is "don't pitch the Brian Jordan" after he did the 'Stros like he did in the playoffs years ago.

I was waiting for Brian Jordan to come up. I f*cking hate that guy. I'd like to add to the list John Smoltz. When we played in the Astrodome he won like 12 consecutive starts there.

It MIGHT be safe to say that Roy O. is a Reds killer, too. :D
