why wouldn't we want our players to do well? it's tiresome reading non-rockets fan consistently bash harden and try to defend him then he keeps having some of his worst games on national tv giving them more ammo.

i'm disappointed that a supposed top 10...maybe top 5 player in the league looked so mediocre with some some of the brightest stars in the nba.

i just really want and dwight and harden to win.

let's not act like Brooks purposely held back our players. you know he has a vendetta for harden leaving, basically forced to start harden. we're used to it. taking Yao out after he was raining threes. (ok one three.)

kobe got 5 rings and the harden hasn't won anything with dwight so i don't think they're angry at all.

He looked fine. He played significantly less minutes than the other starters. Last year he had 15/6/3 last year off the bench. He only played 24 minutes this year.

And at the end of the game he gets put into the lineup with like 3 minutes left after sitting on the bench for over 30 minutes, what do you expect him to look like? lol

Harden has been hated ever since he choked in the finals. It's not anything to do with who he plays for. A lot of people hate his style of play.

i expected him to impose his will on the game and play better then he did. i'm tired of making up excuses for him.

but whatever. it's only the all-star game. time to close this regular season out and make this playoff push.

Why exactly do you care what non-Rockets fans think? Let them bash.

If those people are fans of teams worse than the Rockets, they're just butthurt that their team isn't as good as ours, so they have to find a way to make themselves feel better somehow.

If those people are fans of teams better than us, then they have too much time on their hands, and should focus that energy in rooting more for their own team and players, instead of wasting time bashing Harden.

Should Dallas fans be mad that Nowitzki missed both his shots in the ASG and ended the night with 1 rebound to his name? No, because he's the main reason why Dallas is in playoff contention year after year. Should Toronto be mad that Derozan didn't play that much? No, because it's pretty rare for a Raptor to be an all-star these days.

tl;dr? Shut out the hate from non-Rockets fans, and embrace Harden for who he is.

Yeah, Durant and Griffin weren't about to let him do that.

I personally love how people only think of Harden as a foul drawing flopper who's overrated. It's hilarious how butthurt they get once they actually have to play him, when more often than not, he drops 25+ and wins.

because i want a team i can really get behind. maybe the texans (and houston sports in general) jaded me. you wanted to believe they were a super bowl team and schuab could lead them but you can to the realization that they were not. i don't want that to happen to the rockets.

Where were you when he went for 33 (11-18) and 7 in a dub @ Portland? What about when he scored 16 points in the 4th quarter @ SA en route to a win on Christmas day? Or the 31, 7, and 6 line he dropped on the Spurs just weeks earlier, handing them their 1st home loss of the season?

The Rockets are riding a 7-game streak and sit 3rd in a loaded WC, and you're b****ing about the ASG.

    C'mon, man.

That's because LeBron was bricking all his 3s. If LeBron was on fire, he wouldn't have been letting Irving handle the ball. And instead of Melo, LeBron would have kept jacking up threes.

Griffin hit a lot of his jumpshots, and Durant his a lot of his 3s. There's a difference there - you usually should go to the guy who is lighting it up.

    Harden didn't wanna be there.

Poor guy just wanted to relax after such an exhausting past week.

He deserves to hit up a few strip clubs with the way he's been playing.

They have to prove themselves in the playoffs. This game is meaningless and let them hate, let their butthurt flow.

It's meaningless to even argue about it. Harden just came in, came out. And I'm happy he didn't try hard in a meaningless game
