Still, think about it for second...T-Mac probably more popular than all of those players. The Jeter effect is what T-Mac is experiencing.
That is just so hilarious, can't believe even though he's not anywhere near putting his feet onto the court he still gets some love to get voted in for All-Star racing. On a side note, I came across a friend who cast ballots every day, lasting 2 hours per diem.
There was a thread about cavs fans' comments two days ago. One fan said Tmac was the best player in the world and that he would torch the cavs. Pretty hilarious. Those are the people that are voting Tmac in.
Yes, blame the Chinese fans.... Wait, I thought all Chinese fans were YOFs, which also meant they were TOHs? (Tmac only haters). But now they're voting for T-mac by the masses? Pick one side of the argument, please.
you guys are overreacting...just to prevent chinese fans from voting..u guys have to go through all these troubles....and it's not like all-star games are like serious...it's just all joking around..now for All nba teams and mvp..those are serious..therefore, experts get to vote...see the difference??
Ummm...I'm not an Obama hater, one of his dissatisfied voters, or a bitter Republican. T-Mac used to lead the league in scoring, was an MVP candidate, and has made 7 previous trips to the all star game. 2x 1st team All NBA and 3x 2nd team All NBA. What has Obama done for peace?
Number of points McGrady scored this season: 0 ==> Currently a starter for the "All-Star" game Number of Points Obama scored for peace this season: 0 ==> Wins Nobel Peace Prize and gets 1.4 Million dollars and a gold medal thus the saying "wow, this is like obama winning the nobel peace prize" ...they are both pretty undeserving
i'm sure it helps, but dude is VERY popular. dude has over 470,000+ fans on his facebook page and he has not played for like 10+ months. u have to remember he started on the all-star team the first year he was in orlando, over some pretty big names like vince, jordan, ray allen... but i think the same thing is gonna happen this year. tracy won't play enough games, stern will rig it and chris paul will start. the coaches won't vote him in b/c he doesn't play enough.
Even if Tmac was voted in, he wouldn't play. He'd give up his spot to someone else. That is unless Mac starts to play for the Rockets or some other team very very soon. The idea that it's all because of Chinese fans seems a bit much. I just think he has a lot of fans in general. Some ppl act like he's sucked, throughout his entire career. But he used to be one of the best in the game before injuries. Anyway, I think the NBA messes with the votes anyway and influences who gets voted in.
I voted the following players for western. Aaron Brooks, Tracy McGrady, Trevor Ariza, Luis Scola, Antonio McDyess
It's not politically correct, dude. There are many viewers of NBA in China too. As a Chinese, I, for one, didn't vote yet, though I'm a fan of T-mac. The influence of Chinese votes is hyped, IMHO.
