Yeah i know, theres no way thats possible. Paul finished with like over 2 millions votes and t-mac only had 1,600,000 or something like that.

    I HATE THIS!! SOOO RIGGED!!!

SAME THING HAPPENED LAST YEAR...T-mac leads the whole way and then all of sudden he gets whooped by chris paul...this is stupid...they are doing it for the nba, not what fans want!
CHRIS paul is def an all star but T-MAC should be starting for the fans!!

T-Mac should have got it on his resume though, even if you don't play in the game and say you are injured and cant play, it still goes down on your resume that you were an all-star... so t-mac coulda potentially been an 9th time all-star if he got it last year and this year.

thats lame i think the league even if mcgrady said he was healthy and could play probably would have pushed him down to third its ridiculous how they want to push paul into the spotlight....it has nothing to do with mcgrady at all.

there are a few locks for all-star in the next few years as starters regardless of what fans think:

    kobe
    paul
    lebron
    wade
    howard
    yao

so there are really only 4 spots open total between the two teams.

amare taking over carmelo is a bit surprising but from the last numbers he was only 15k behind that seems doable, but it makes no sense that in every return mcgrady's lead over paul kept getting bigger and bigger and then all of a sudden in the last return paul makes up roughly 600k in votes? that seems totally illogical...heck bruce bowen behind 3rd in the final tally seems illogical too.

its all a farce i just wish the nba just dropped the whole "fan" voting anyway to just totally put an end to it.

Where did you guys hear that T-Mac got bumped off? If so, that's nuts. All-Star is meant to be played for fans not for whose better.

wow, some serious whining going on considering how much people don't like tmac on this board. i'm glad he didn't make it. for one, he hasn't played much and he's sucked when he did. he in no way truly deserves to be there. and especially not just because yao ming is his teammate. plus it saves an awkward handling of the situation as tmac tries to get out of the game and the NBA tries to let him out without just letting someone ditch the game (since they don't want that).

yeah, why push a top 4 player into the spotlight.

good, then people who like basketball and not just yao ming can watch the best players in the all-star game.

i really think bosh should be starting over KG or even rashard lewis, orlando is having a monster year and rashard is averaging like 3 three's per game. KG isn't having the statistical wonder of year that we're used to because his minutes are down

I got confused as to who and what they were arguing about.

But I caught the C-Webb/Gugliotta part.

C-Webb said it was plenty of times where he outplayed Gugliotta and busted his ass but yet Gugliotta was voted in over him.

Then Gary Payton basically said the same thing about John Stockton.

It was getting heated on the set during that discussion.

ok one it has NOTHING to do with how much he played or how he played...THE VOTING IS BY THE FANS and who the FANS want to see play...the game is meaningless but just a chance for the fans to see their favorite players....t-mac is known everywhere and fans like him regardless if he plays or not...t-mac has a reputation around everywhere.

No one is saying chris paul doesn't deserve to be there, CHRIS PAUL IS AWESOME but fans voted for T-MAC and like t-mac more so paul just has to gain some more popularity.
