Yeah. They showed who the managers selections were and Lopez, Alou, & Gonzalez were chosen by Larussa.

The question is, since the All Star Game will be in an AL ballpark this year, who will TLR choose to be the DH??

Oswalt, Myers, Wagner, Webb, Hoffman are the final five for the NL.

    No hitters, and no Morgan.

Everybody needs to make sure and vote for Oswalt on the final ballot.

I'm still steaming about no Ensberg. Is it wrong for me to hope that someone will get hurt or sit the game out just so he gets in?

Oswalt should be there instead of Livan. Oswalt has a ERA of 2.54 on a team at a hitting ballpark. Livan has a 3.32 ERA at pitching ballpark. It doesn't make much sense. I can't believe Morgan didn't even make it to the final vote thing but Roy did.

Oswalt is the practically the all time leader in winning percentage, ever, in the entire history of pitchers, and has never made an all star game. What a joke.

Oswalt made the list because the NL took around fourteen reserve hitters. Because of the team LaRussa chose, the last man had to be a pitcher - so Oswalt gets a chance to rectify his snub and Morgan gets screwed.

You can vote as many times for Oswalt as you want... so get the Clutchfans mojo going for Roy O!

Out of all the final vote candidates, the only one that worries me is Wagner... but if Lidge is declared inactive (which he should be), Wagner should get his spot (to keep the same amount of closers), and Roy's chances get increased even more.

Rolen is a great ball player but there is no way in hell he should be starting over Morgan. MLB should make a rule that if you don't play a certain amount of games you can't start the All Star Game. Its just not fair.

An ultimate snub for Ensberg. The SS selection in the NL was a joke, and there was no reason that 3 were needed. And why 6 reserve OF's?

seems like the majority of fans recognize the error.. on espn's poll, they pick Rolen as the most undeserving NL All Star, and they pick Ensberg as the biggest NL snub. I didn't expect Ensberg to have the recognition amongst the general public.. (this was all positions, not just 3B or anything)

So I guess Rolen got in purely on the Card fan votes...another reason to hate StL

The people voting on ESPN are not at all representative of the casual fan that votes in the ballparks.

Rolen is the most recognizable 3B in the league - he likely got votes from everywhere - probably in all the cities that don't have their own all-star caliber 3B ... Same with Beltran and other "big names". This happens year in and year out with traditional all-star players that are having sucky seasons.

i thought ensberg was a lock and there is no question he should have been on the team. oswalt has the third best era in the NL, i expect fans to do the right thing and vote him in for the final spot.

Ensberg has been hot this past month, so I didn't expect him to make it because people had already voted.

To be fair to the rest of baseball... no other sub .500 team could be claiming that they deserve 4 all-stars on this team (thus, it really highlights how badly this team played the first couple of months of the season).

The Mets and Dodgers are the only other sub .500 team with more than one (and each of them got a player in via the fan vote). We got two players in there the hard way... and we'll likely get a third with Oswalt winning the final vote-in (although I agree that he's the third best pitcher in the majors).

I think we should be thankful for at least getting this much... and for the fact that we've got something to look forward to (the wild card race) for the rest of the summer. Who would have expected any of this after May?

Fan voting needs to be done away with. I don't care if it is the whole point of the All-Star Game.

How did NY not vote Jeter into the game.

Also, how has the Wizard of Oz never gone? Did Miller go a couple of years ago?
