Wow, I guess the Nba doesn't appreciate what Kevin Love is doing. I guess they don't encourage hard work on a nightly basis.

    The Nba is a joke.

Love not making is even more ridiculous than Yao getting enough votes to be the starting center.

Gasol definitely is not having an All-Star year either.

Hate to be "that guy" but Bosh got in because of his popularity. Boozer is better than him in virtually every catagory (except free throws). Bosh was also probably picked in a landslide over Smith even though he and Smith have similiar stats. Smith's actually a bit more qualified than Bosh to go to the ASG IMO.

don't all the conference coaches vote on the all stars for each respective conference reserves?

I thought so too but it's actually the All-Star game coaches (i.e. Pop)

Yup all coaches can vote in each conference on all players except for the players on their team.

I guess all the Chinese fans only like the Rockets for Yao. They didn't vote anyone else in.

Maybe Tracy has more fans than we think and that's how he kept getting in.

How long is Williams going to be out? If he can't return, does Stern get to pick a replacement, or does the Head Coach pick a replacement since Williams wasn't voted a starter? Or.... does the person with the next number of coash votes get the spot?

I think as soon as Yao went down, most of the chinese would have stopped watching us play and hence, not interested. If Yao had played, and we were a winning team, chinese would have voted couple of guys in.

Stern picks the replacement. I think Williams will be back in time though... I believe he's day-to-day.

Pop actually said he voted for LA.

Him not making it is borderline criminal.

This is a glorified popularity contest. It is a TRAVESTY what they just did to Kevin Love. You shouldn't punish a guy for his team losing. 30 and 20 any given night is 30 and 20 any given night.

Ok with griffin getting in, but while Duncan is close to best PF of all time this the all-star game and this season he is not playing like one, Love should be in for him and then Z-Bo in as Yao replacement

Al horford Really? sure I'm a showing a little patriotic bias but Bogut should have that spot and Bosh is lucky there isn't the pf depth in the east as there is in the west

All in all seems like aside from Simmons boyfriend you now don't get to be an all-star unless your team is winning

I'll bet that Love replaces Yao. If DWill sits out, then it's Nash too. I understand the Duncan selection mainly because the Spurs are 40-8 and the T-Wolves are 11-37. It's not all just because of Manu. That said, I agree that Love deserves a spot too, and he'll probably get one, so no big deal.

Because it's the east. Garnett's better than Bosh. Neither of them should have gottan in if they were in the west.
