Does anyone know if Houston has applied to host the allstar game in the future (new arena)?

Does anyone know what the word "retro" means?
This All-Star game was meant to be simple and retro look.
They did a good job in doing so. I thought having the teams logo on the back of the jerseys was a touch of present with the past.

You have to admit Mariah's outfits could start a trend with the ladies now. She looked hot!!

The halftime brought tears to my eyes because even as a fan it hits you, this was Jordans last All-Star Game.
To be alive and to see him grace the court is enough for any fan to be satisfied.

I give credit to Kidd for passing the ball to Jordan like he did and allowing him to take his shots.

The tribute to Jordan and his speech was great. But Mariah sucked. Her outfit was good, but the performance was no good.

I didn't like Mariah either, but then again, I don't think I've ever liked her. What the hell was that dress? Full of class.

I did like the whole throw-back idea. I love all that old music and I think it's perfect for the NBA. I didn't see all of the opening so I might have missed some of the bad stuff. In short, I don't like Mariah. Especially when she trys to sing really high notes.

I hadn't seen the all-star jerseys, so I was hoping everyone would be wearing a retro jersey of their team. Wouldn't that be great?

By the way, the performances except the national anthem were horrible! Tried my best to get Richard Simmons out of my head after the intros.

For what its worth I thought the pregame music was great. Midnight Train to Georgia is one of my favorite songs. The Celebration song was great as well except when the lead singers mic wasn't working at the beginning.

Is it just me or do mariah's boobs look huge? I don't remember her having such huge boobs when she first started out and was all cute and innocent.

Quote from Charles Barkley about Mariah's first dress at Halftime

"Her skirt was shorter than Jordan's speech!"

    :D

The crowd was so quiet because the game sucked until the end of the 4th quarter. By the Way, isn't this the wrong forum?

I think that was Ernie Johnson who said that. I think that's the first time I've ever heard EJ make a joke and succeed.

That doesn't make sense...the dress was floor length. Short?

she wore two dresses. Her first "dress"...it was more like a normal sized jordan jersey that was made to fit her curves.

I definitely agree with the crowd being abnormally quiet. Kind of strange.
