Kobe played 36 minutes? Uh, that's really good clock management flip.

Shaq is the MVP?! guess he had the bulk of the Center position minutes.

    24pts 11rbs for Shaq.

I thought the same thing. You see them when the ball went out of bounds off of an east player and they were up yelling and waving towels? They were the only guys jumping around like that. I love stuff like that. :D

Wow the only starter who got shafted worse than Yao for minutes was Vince Carter, the #1 vote-getter. You think the fans are disappointed with THAT blunder?

Man, I just got pissed off! If the game had been played in Houston, either SF or Yao would have been the MVP. Those suckers just designed the game for the fakers.:mad:

The MVP thing is pretty much pre-determined actually. If coaches want certain player to win it, all they have to do it simply playing them more minutes. Obviously they want as every players want either Kobe or Shaq to win it since they're in LA and Shaq said so during the interview. Look at Kobe, he played 36 mins or something ...man that's more than anybody...what does this tell u?? They really want him to win it!!!

And yea i agreed Vince Carter didn't get as much minutes as he deserved.

Amen to that... I think everyone agreed and supported that either Shaq or Kobe should get the title.

I wish it was Kobe, coz I don't want people to think that Shaq is more deserving to be in the starting 5. It's too bad that Stevie and Yao didn't get to the finish.

Probably the best the allstar game I've seen in a long while. Yao was amazing. He really played well. For that little stretch, the West allstars were deferring to him!

You guys have gotta nothing to complain. Both Steve and Yao played very well. Shaq deserves more minutes than Yao since 1) the game is played in LA; 2) Shaq is a better player than Yao right now, period.

Also it just became clearer and clearer that if allowed to get into the paint and with single coverage, Yao is the big man with the best shooting touch. Actually the analysts even mentioned that he will has the best field goal pentage if he shoots inside the paint with single coverage.

I am very happy with Yao's performance. His assist to SF3 for the dunk is great.:)
