Yep, mark your calendars. Three weeks from today, we're gonna teach that Aussie about the good ol' American game of baseball! (Actually, softball may be a better idea, but we'll decide when the time comes.) I'll have the brisket cooked, you guys bring the beer. More details to follow. We'll do this during the day to allow time to get back to Houston for the ASG.

When looking for the baseball fields, take a right at this road marker:

The Dark ale and Stout are great. I need to try some of the others. Its starting to turn up more often in bars around here and the better liquor stores usually have it.

I especially like the baseball/softball plan...I havent played in ages.

I got a much better chance of being effective on the field than hauling my old ass up and down a court tryin to keep up with the young legs. :(

The plan is in development, but basically it's baseball/softball at the fields by my house, followed by barbeque and beer at my house, then everyone head to Houston for the All star game. Sound good?

I'm probably down for it, especially now that it involves baseball/softball. Not quite sure yet since it's a little more than an hour drive for me, but at this point y'all can count me in.

Sunday, the 19th. Smeg and Mrs. Smeg get into town on Saturday the 18th. They have plans with myself and with HP on Saturday evening, although those plans are not set in stone. But Sunday is the gathering for the BBS, then Sunday evening is for those who can't make it down to League City during the day.
