Nice post, made my point for me. Watching the game last night actually irritated me so much. We were winning no doubt and I'm loving the new additions to our team especially the shootings of Novak and the beauties of Battier.

What annoyed me so much was Yao got left out of the offense many times. I think Tmac hooked up with him on one pick and roll and that was it.

Rafer never even tried to look for Yao, his GPS clearly fixed on Tmac.

Don't get me wrong I love Tmac but if you think we can win a championship with Yao as a decoy and a second banana, you better wake up cause i know you're dreaming.

They would also play 37-41 minutes a game. Not sure the Rox should count on that for their oft-injured stars, especially Yao.Tthough they didnt win a title that year, when Payton and Malone joined their numbers took a little hit. I'd prefer Tmac and Yao dominate when situation calls for it, not cuz they have to every single night out cuz we've seen that won't work.

Agree on the comment about Yao's passing. Yao's a very humble and generous man and it gets taken to mean that applies into his passing. He might TRY to do that but his slow reactions out of double teams and numbers show he's not a Bill Walton passing big guy. If he gets 3 assists a game that's outstanding improvement for him and the team.
