That type of behavior comes from living in a dry county that is in the middle of the desert. It is understandable. :grin:

What I will never understand is the throwing of tortillas that happened all throughout the 1990s in Lubbock.

All of Tech fans may not be like that, but things like that happen very frequently in Lubbock. Another example is when Tach fans leaned over the railing and took a swing at A&M basketball player Joe Wilbert back in the day.

 

Was a good game, closer than everyone expected, but I am happy with the win.

Aggie fans were very nice as well.

Don't fight it! Hah. Look at the Techies that "checked in" and echoed the sentiment. That is what Tech is. Their football team runs a gimmick offense, it will never be able to recruit tier 1 talent, so they find a way to become the thorn in everyone's side. Tech wont win a Title but it will knock off plenty of Title hopefuls and even shred someone in a non-BCS Holiday level bowl. The basketball team did something similar with Knight. They hire arrogant, annoying, jerks and promote that kind of behavior. Its not necessarily bad, like I said, that's Tech's thing. The ******* school nobody wants to play and you cant ignore.
