What's Hillary's stance on drone strikes? Dems have been amazingly quiet on this. It is something they would hammer a Republican over.

On the contrary! I am overjoyed and relieved that the majority of republicans now feel the war was a mistake. Gives me hope for a future that we will laugh at and dismiss anyone who is insane enough to say that Iraq was worth the loss of life and treasure.

Middle Easter intervention isn't exactly a Republican only or even US only thing

Next step is for Republicans hopefuls to admit the entire presidency of George W Bush was a catastrophic disaster with the Iraq was as it's crowning achievement.

I, a libby lib, was for the war, I wanted to overthrow a sadistic tyrant. The war went well. It was the post-war occupation that was royally botched. Maybe the dissolution of the Army and Civil System's resulting chaos was predictable. It didn't really seem like it at the time. It seemed like people would fall in line with the new organization chart by the Super Power that freed them.

...won't make that mistake again.... people are greedy violent, self-interested f***ks.

Seems like the whole country has selective memory now. We were kickin' ass and taking names at the time.

I bet you are the only one here who has drunk enough Kool Aid to still believe "stay the course" would have been the right action. Stay the course is exactly why Obama was elected. If Bush weren't such a total failure, Obama never would have gained enough traction to win the Dem nomination.

However you feel about Obama, public revulsion to Bush is why he is president now.

No, it wasn't. There were 150,000 armed unemployed looking to get their's and the oil money was there for the taking.
There Will Be Blood times a million.

You can't occupy 30 million people without terror tactics especially when 20 million of them hate the other 10 million.

Then Obama what? You didn't complete your statement.

The surge failed. The Iraqi war failed. The war on terror is a failure.

    Repeat after me. ;)

So you'd say that Iraq is now in a better place than when Obama took the reins? You'd say Obama's done a flawless job battling ISIS?

So you'd say that Iraq is now in a better place than when Bush Jr. declared an Axis of Evil, giving over half the Middle East to Iran--including, ironically, Iraq?

You'd say you're avoiding the rightful contrition that should come to acknowledging the failure of the Iraqi War by pinning the blame on somebody else?

The surge failed. The Iraqi war failed. The war on terror is a failure.

Both parties are responsible. One party voted overwhelmingly for it, had a president declare it, and botched the entire thing, but hey, what's the blame game without other people eh? Sure, let's slag the other side for continuing a legacy of failure though.

    Now repeat after me.

The surge failed. The Iraqi war failed. The war on terror is a failure.

    Objection -- relevance.

It's telling that you won't answer my simple questions. Instead you write way too many words, most if not all of which aren't even on topic.

Objection -- Inability to parse properly.

I need to debug you texxxbot.

I parry your objection of relevance with asking--if somebody brings up something irrelevant, and declares somebody else irrelevant, do the RULES OF IRRELEVANCY EVEN HOLD.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    i'd wager my statement of
"The surge failed. The Iraqi war failed. The war on terror is a failure." has a relatively high correlation with a topic that says All Republican hopefulls now agree Iraq war was a mistake.

    now repeat after me ;)
